Welp, Skyfury is dead

We are talking about the same person that read a blue post saying that if Blizz did something, a specific result would follow. Then when Blizz did do that and that result did happen, this individual still finds a way to blame the players.

Some people cant put the square block into the square hole I guess.

f… the horde are leaving in mass arent they?

according to the blokes in angerforge, both servers are roughly 60/40 in alli favor.

Horde are fleeing in mass arent they?

Except we still have a queue… so…

No they aren’t.,

Actually, according to data, Alliance are. 91/9 split of 70s.

I’m wondering if I should just go back to Grobb. It is the only server that hasn’t been ruined and seems to be immune to Blizz’s meddling.

It is quite easy to pretend that Grobb’s 20k pop stayed balanced because of some realm forum call to action, when in fact there was no reasonable PVP (and RP) alternative after what happened on Faerlina, Whitemane, and Benediction. There were no greener pastures.

I’d say leaving Skyfury for Angerforge to avoid 4 hour queues is quite the greener pasture. And Blizz knew this to be the case. They said this much in a blue post. They said it would cause population problems and create 2 100% faction servers. They also said they wouldn’t open transfers for 90 days. Then they did it anyways.

You can shill and bootlick and blame the players all you want. A realm forum isn’t gonna keep people from transferring and reorganizing when A: that’s not even a reasonable way for 7000 people to communicate and B: people have been screwed out of playing for 2 weeks because of queues and see an option to never see a queue again. But to even think that every WoW player also participates in the forum is living in a fairy tail world.

The only option Blizz has to keep these servers functionally PVP is to put a stop on the migrations once both servers reach an appropriate balance and queue. Doing so will clearly piss players off who migrated before their friends and guilds followed, because once again Blizz would have decided to not communicate with its player base. But I’m sure when that happens you’ll be back on here blaming the players.

Yeah a big ally guild left which really helped tbh.

We needed less ally

What will we do with one less DK?

Skyfury on server status page says full instead of saying locked like before. When will i be able to make a toon there?

I’m not playing DK. My main on skyfury is a Druid.

Angerforge is hoppin’ now! You should have seen it tonight! More and more people everywhere, and lots of guilds spamming the chat. They wouldn’t be doing that if they weren’t digging in and planning to stay.

No queues, but who cares? That’s the point of getting the heck off Skyfury.

I wouldn’t say it’s hopping. Pop is still extremely low.

Even if t hey are 100% horde 100% alliance each one of them, they’re still fresh.

Might as well just put Horde and Alliance labels on servers so folks know where to transfer to spam LFG listings. Although this is how Blizzard milks the cow by making players transfer to faction high pop servers just to do dungeons.

With a massive faction inbalance in the pvp servers, world pvp becomes irevelant if there is no opposite faction to pvp with.

Blizzard is creating a mess, because of stubborness and refusing dungeon finder.

Don’t worry, Angerforge is dead and all the people who transferred there after grinding full Brutal on Skyfury got screwed.

All the people who wanted pristine fresh on Angerforge quit the server before investing more into it.

So now it’s just a handful of 70s who wanted to exploit the AH and grief levelers. They got what they deserved.

100% faction servers have been a trend since the end of Classic going into TBC a few years ago. People want to be on mega servers with as many same faction players to pool from. I don’t know why realms just aren’t connected at this point.

And watch them cave into the GDKP’s next what a mess.
