Well...Character Stuck in Shadowmoon w/3 Hours for Self Service

I had the thing where my character immediately d/c’s on login.

I’d had this once before a long time ago, so I used the self-service unsticking thing, and it worked.

I logged in, mounted up, and rode off to complete a quest, and then, in a spot very near the previous d/c (the road from a level one garrison to the ship area for a quest that is necessary before I can get a level two garrison, which is the goal), I got stuck again.

I am unable to use the self service function again for another 3 hours (it has a 4hr reset/cooldown for some unfathomable reason).

I did the Scan and Repair function as well, which took a very long time. It didn’t fix the problem.

So, I cannot log in to this character and the system will not allow me to put in a ticket. It just keeps circling me back to the self service unstick function.

What would you advise? I mean, can I just not do this quest? Can I just not be in Shadowmoon?

Personally, I’d open a ticket and claim ignorance that the self service isn’t working.

Every time I get a character stuck on a dc loop I have to open a ticket. Self service will just spin in circles loading forever.

I’d move this to the Customer Support Forum and ask them the best method. That’s what they’re there for. :slightly_smiling_face:

Nothing? Okay. Well, moving this to a support forum was very helpful. /eye roll

The timer is up on my self service, so I can use it and free the character again…but it still doesn’t answer the question about what is going on in Shadowmoon in that particular area or prevent it from happening again if I try to go over there and do that quest again.

There is a known issue with leaving the garrison to the north.
