Please provide me the evidence where Blizzard said layering would only last a couple weeks. The only thing theyâve told us is that they plan to have it down to one by Phase 2, which we donât know the release date of.
Yes absolutely. Otherwise you are opening the doors for all other changes that people claim make the game better.

This isnt a game play change! Its a thing letting people PLAY THE GAME!!! Its not the same thing as LFG or, i dunno, pet tabs, or whatever else you can think of.

They have patched that to make it really hard to do, so stop this line of reasoning, it doesnt hold water anymore. Yes, people used it to farm stuff at first. Blizz saw what was going on, and hotfixed it so that there is an increasingly long timer between layer changes.

Did it ever occur to anyone that Blizzard may have not expected such a huge turnout for Classic? If something is entirely dependent on how many players are still engaging with the game, then reducing layers is probably going to be a little more difficult than anticipated and potentially delayed.

Itâs not âreally hard to doâ. I did it last night twice as a test when horde were all over me. Itâs still broken.
They slowed down the impact to aoe farm quick jumping but you can still do it every time you move to a new spot for quest items/mobs

I want it out because it is open to far too much abuse. All I see in guild and general is âlayer invite plsâ. But fair enough we can agree to disagree.
Fair enough, and i understand your point, i really do, but if i have to choose between some people exploiting a thing and me being able to play, and them getting rid of l;layering, and me sitting at the login screen waiting for a long queue to pop, im going to choose layering every time. YMMV
