Yeah keep pushing the go, go, go rush through everything to beat some sort of timer bs mentality. Spend a little less time doing that, then perhaps you guys wouldn’t have to time gate everything else in this game. Now you get those toxic folks joining normal, heroic, and time walker dungeons bringing that pull everything, rush, hurry up crap with them.

M+ boomie damage is in line with elemental shamans, hunters, and below windwalker monks. Not sure why you want to “destroy” them. We are brought because we offer some great utility and single target burst.

True, but that started out as an MMO as well. Why dont they build a game from the ground up for esports. They are a game development company or at least they used to be.

I’m curious. When did esports become an official thing in WoW? I’d taken a loooong break during Cataclysm and just renewed my account in December because Shadowlands looked interesting (and I’d just gotten a new computer after owning a glorified potato for years). I’d seen lots of posts mentioning esports but I didn’t really realize the extent to which it was an “official” part of the game. Again, prior to my coming back, I just remember only heroics as the “top tier” of 5-man content. I’m not making this post for or against esports, just looking for some history here…

Made me chuckle.
Esports has been a thing with arenas for wow. But they seem to be doubling down on making high end content their focus while the rest of the game quality suffers. Esports for PVE content doesn’t particularly strike a lot of people as interesting.

Yeah, my old computer struggled to run iTunes. So WoW wasn’t really an option. I tried reactivating it right before Legion launched and it wasn’t pretty. I know some have said WoW will run on any computer but I beg to disagree.

It sounds like you think that providing this competition will have some affect on actual players who do mythic+ in the game and their gameplay.
It won’t. Aside from the tiny number of competitors, the only people it will affect will be the small number who like to watch other players doing mythic+. And it won’t even affect their gameplay in the least.
It’s not content. The game needs content.

I am imagining the same PC I used in high school that my parents still have. That thing is old… i turned it on when I visited recently, sounds like a school bus. Not good.
