I have a job and don’t have a lot of time after work to relax and enjoy myself. I was doing the weekly quest and completed the fourth dungeon and it has just disappeared after reset. From what I have been told this happens often, no indication on when it will happen.
This is abysmal service. I gave you guys $20AUS and sank time into this quest to enjoy myself, I am really unhappy that I spent time doing dungeons to just have it erased because of this and I do not get my loot for the week. I came back to the game as goodwill after the disasters PR you had and thought the company was doing better, it is really disappointing that I give your weekly quest a go and it just disappears right after I finish it.
This is unacceptable service and I do not think this is fair.
I mean I wouldn’t go this far though I did have 3/4 dungeons done but I am really interested to know why we call it a weekly quest if it doesn’t last a week. And why they changed that fact given that it used to be possible to play right up until the server shut down
It’s been like this for a couple years at least. The quest ends 3 hours prior to the weekly reset. This is nothing new. It’s even noted in the in-game calendar. Here’s a thread from two years ago asking the same thing, showing it indeed has been this way for a while:
It’s so weird though. I had somehow never noticed until just a couple of weeks ago when the last timewalking suddenly fell off the perch for me. I was very confused. But seemingly a lot of other people have only just started noticing it too.
Because this is how it’s always been, with it ending earlier than the reset (and by default of the OP, by reset itself since there was a time difference issue). It’s right on the calendar, as several have stated. If you’d like to see this changed, perhaps post your suggestion and feedback in the Quests forum, GD or through the in-game suggestion interface so that the proper staff will see it. But if you have any question of when a weekly ends, it will be on your calendar to reflect when you should have it completed by. And often, it’s best to have it done a bit sooner as sometimes there have been reports of it nipping a few minutes here or there rather than it getting right down the wire.
