This is a shuff game over a 3s game but it’s recent, today, and definitely has some bad in it.

  1. I got a couple traps grounded by the Enhance who played really well.
  2. I made life way harder then it needed to be for my healer at the end of round 1.
  3. Did the same thing to my healer at the beginning of round 2, turtled during his communion as well.
  4. I completely threw round 4 by not pressing any buttons.
  5. I’m pretty sure I just whiffed a trap too.
  6. Obviously what you see and say haha, I’m just using this as good time to critique myself as well.

Some people like to improve at the games they play while on summer brake instead of traveling to the eu.

You have a vod please review it.

Here’s what I’ve got. First part are my suggestions, second part are my notes reacting to the games themselves. I think it’s helpful to include both.

I feel like your ui is a little weird? It makes noticing enemy cd’s a lot harder. The visual icons for enemy cd’s show up for only part of their duration on their nameplates. Also they look really off center. I personally find it to make it a lot harder to keep track of things, especially because you also have your damage numbers completely covering your enemy buffs making hard to track them there also.

Overall I’d say your biggest problem is defensive play. You know what you should do for the most part, but not when to do it. And I think that’s mainly because your ui is a little jank making it harder for you to notice when the other team is doing things. You’re kinda going based on the vibes it feels like. If you’re taking damage you pop a cd, if you think they might be doing damage you pre kite. But it doesn’t seem like you actually know when or what they’re doing most of the time.

Other than that, the only big thing is you’re a little too impatient on your traps against shamans.

Here are my notes of things I reacted to when watching.

Round 1

Imo honestly in the opener I think it might’ve been better to just send your go immediately with both dps stacked on the dk. Just rip intim to try and stop the sleep follow up on your healer then just rely on harpoon trap cuz most enhances and dk’s have a lot harder time predicting the trap on it. “Which you did on the 2nd trap”

Weird time to pull back at 1:32. Nothing is really happening and you’re leaving your dk out in the open alone for no reason. Your go is also up in 10 and you had to walk all the way across the map, delaying it and making landing trap practically impossible since you’re yeeting it against a shaman.

Then the binding shot a bit after kinda didn’t make any sense to me at least, maybe there’s a reason for it, but you aren’t really peeling anything, your go is over, the hunter already has wall up, the healer is already on stun dr and you don’t have trap.

Used entire defensive kit in one go. I think if you prob could’ve disengaged and pillard when you used exhil and saved everything, maybe you would’ve still had to wall but you wouldn’t have been in turtle so you could’ve stopped the follow up hex. You didn’t really have a reason to be pushing in that hard.

Round 2

3:50 Ran back in line of hunter and ulti pen disc priest to get in line of cc’d healer when you could’ve just sat behind pillar, avoided a ton of damage and probably saved turtle.

Round 3

The first cc go is pretty bad, so getting immuned on the trap is fine, but your playing double hunter. You sent your intim on ams making it impossible for your other hunter to get the trap. Then sent binding way too late.

Then on your next intim you messed up and used it before trap was up, but that mistake saved you from getting grounded so a nice happy little accident.

Round 4

Ignored the shaman full sending his burst on you… then you got los and just decided to run back out into the middle?

Round 5

You pop wall after thie go is mainly over and your priest already used ps on you. Use it more as a deterrent when people are using their big cds on you, you can just trade wall. It’s a short enough cd that you can rotate it pretty much whenever they pop.

Overlapped ps and wall again.

Round 6

First wall is better, but second wall was pretty bad and you also used exhil there for no reason? So on a nothing go you used all your short defensives, and your healer time dilated.

Did a good job respect army damage with turtle into wall, that’s the only time you really need to be afraid of unholy dk’s.

Thanks for the feedback, the only thing I’m going to push back on is the UI and only because it was patch day and MiniCC was going haywire while I played that shuff haha.

Ya I didn’t realize that they messed it up on the patch this week.

Ya its been a roller coaster ride with that.

I’m too hesitant to try to even find a group that is degenerate enough to que with a guardian druid. So I guess all I can ask is how do I get over my minor fear/hesitation of putting a LFGroup up? Any advice or suggestions I could do to appeal to more people dps or healer wise?

Generally if you want to q tank you’ll probably have to make friends that want to q with you. Most tank specs aren’t really designed to be playable in arena so using tools like lfg will be pretty tough. You’ll either need to be significantly better at the game than the people you are playing with or have homies that just enjoy playing with you.

Valid, considering I’ve reached 2700 on prot warr in blitz. I figured I might be able to give it a fair shake hate aside. Thanks. Might have to adopt the same mentality as well though which sucks.

Not going to get too into depth as this is Youji’s thing but one a couple things i noticed. What spec are you running when playing sentinel? Looks like you’re playing Shrapnel Bomb as sentinel, you should really be running Flamebreak. As sentinel you don’t really need the extra focus regen and the extra fire damage is nice.

Also are you changing to packleader vs pet zoo specs like unholy/bm/demo? If not you should be as Chakrams doesn’t do much when it’s cleaving the zoo.

Lastly, how did you get your CDM buffs to not be static? I really like that they center for you.

Hey thanks for those tips! I use ARCUI for my CDM in this video. I recently switched to TellMewhen though which is similar
