Week 2 of being benched due to class

GG Blizzard. I guess your solution is a 100% experience buff to reroll a fire mage? After seeing those “buffs” you sure aren’t planning on fixing broken specs.

I can see that you are not satisfied with the fire mage’s situation in WoW Classic Season of Discovery (SoD). I understand that some players may feel frustrated with the balance changes and the new class abilities that are introduced in this update.

However, I would like to offer a different perspective on the fire mage’s role and potential in SoD. The fire mage’s new abilities can create interesting and dynamic gameplay, and they can synergize well with other classes and specs. For example, Glass Cannon can increase your damage output significantly, but it also makes you more vulnerable to enemy attacks. This means that you have to be more careful with your positioning and timing, and rely on your teammates to protect you. Ring of Fire can create a powerful area of effect, but it also reduces your range and requires you to stay close to your enemies. This means that you have to be more aggressive and coordinate with your allies to maximize its impact. Greater Pyroblast and Blast Wave can offer you more mobility and burst damage, but they also have long cast times and high mana costs. This means that you have to be more strategic and opportunistic with your spell usage, and manage your resources wisely.

These trade-offs can make the fire mage more challenging and rewarding to play, as you have to adapt to different situations and make smart decisions. They can also make the fire mage more versatile and fun, as you have to experiment with different builds, gear, and playstyles. The fire mage’s potential may vary depending on the phase of SoD, as the level cap, the available gear, and the raid content change over time. Therefore, I would suggest that you give the fire mage a fair chance, and see how it performs in different scenarios. You may find that the fire mage is not as broken as you think, and that it can still deal competitive damage and contribute to your team’s success.

Of course, this is just my opinion, and you are free to disagree with me. I respect your preference and choice, and I hope that you enjoy playing WoW Classic SoD, regardless of your class and spec.

The entire raid is probably 3 mannable, 100% 4 mannable. If your group is benching you even for being Frost Mage levels of DPS then your group should “getgud”

There is enough of those. Y’all realize we’re only top DPS because the bosses had stupidly high armor and no spell resists right?
Y’all don’t seem to remember the last 2 BFD bosses take more damage from us swinging a staff at is than casting spells apparently.

Ranged hunters in WoW Classic Season of Discovery are one of the weakest DPS classes, despite receiving a 5 percent buff to their damage. This buff is not enough to compensate for the lack of utility, mobility, and survivability that hunters have compared to other classes. Hunters rely heavily on their pets, which are often killed or ignored by enemies, and their shots, which are easily interrupted or dodged. Hunters also have to deal with the drawbacks of the Lone Wolf and Sniper Training Runes, which require them to sacrifice their pet or their movement for more damage. These Runes are not very effective in most situations, as hunters need their pet for aggro management and their movement for kiting and positioning. Therefore, a 5 percent buff for ranged hunters is not enough to make them competitive with other DPS classes, and it does not address the core issues that hunters face in Season of Discovery. This is bad for the game, as it reduces the diversity and balance of the classes, and makes hunters feel less fun and rewarding to play. Hunters should receive more buffs or reworks to their abilities, Runes, and pets, to make them more viable and enjoyable in Season of Discovery.

OP you need to find a new guild. You are being benched in a raid that people are pugging on their alts lol

That’s what happens when the raid is 10 man and not 15 or 20 man… the non-meta specs get rejected from groups.

If a fire mage, warlock and a ranged hunter sign up, who would you bring?

You mean reroll or play melee? Yeah that is some deep research.

Whose been around the longest? Do I already have a lot of clothies? In my group definitely the hunter. Gear distribution matters so much more then me who can do more damage. The raids are easy lol.
