I am using “WeaponSwingTimer” right now, seems to be ok.

I don’t see a swing timer in Weak Auras’ default templates. Would you mind giving me a little more info?

Googling “weak aura weapon swing timer” brings up a couple results.

Perhaps I should’ve been more clear.

I’d like to know about any settings/features baked into Weakauras so I can make my own swing timer if possible. When you search for other peoples’ custom Weakauras, a lot of the time they’ll be coded with custom LUA or they use a different version’s features, or they might not be usable for the Classic client.

Even if I did find a nice custom Weakaura that works out of the box, it would be best for me to know how to actually make one, so I can edit it as I see fit, especially since many of the custom ones you find online come ‘packaged’ with extra features I might not want, or are perhaps intended to be used by certain classes.

Surprisingly, I was able to google “how to make my own weak aura” as well.

This seems like an interesting question. While, I don’t use WeakAuras personally, it does seem like a sort of fun rabbit hole to dive down…

Anyway, this example seems to be a relatively decent starting point:

“This guides you through the process of getting an Aura built very quickly for some common things that people track including racial abilities, enchantment effects, spell cooldowns, and player buffs or debuffs.”

I flipped through that and sadly, swing timers were not among the features discussed in that guide.

That’s a starting point.

How do I use a guitar to create Heavy Metal?

A starting point might be how do I hold a guitar? How do I make a guitar make noise? How to I play a country-music song on a guitar?

Does it really matter than you don’t have a guide for making the specific thing you want if you don’t know how “make a thing” anyway?

I mean, if you just want a swing-timer, then just grab a swing-timer addon…
