Ok, so I’ve never used Weak Aura’s but I know its like mandatory with this expansion. Is there like a really noob friendly build you recommend to start off with? Like I know gladius and sarena have premade builds created by like xar and such. If what I’m saying doesn’t make much sense, its because I don’t know much about weakaura’s.

i don’t think weakauras are mandatory as much as noticing the moment enemy players do stuff is mandatory. you can maintain that awareness with gamesound, nameplates, omnibar or just keeping track of cooldowns internally or externally. do you know what you’d want to track with WA?
Having an addon that makes your screen flash and honk whenever people press buttons helps with this.

you’re not wrong, but so would getting a 4th guy into discord to coach the game, or just installing a bot program.
Honestly, there are some things I donk know, that i dont know. Like for example, the ww setup that can one shot you. I’m not sure how it works, but an addon letting me know it’s coming sure would help.
that might be something you can get more easily from a nameplate buff monitor, tbh. if you get the addon flyplatebuffs and put in a custom spell for id 325201, you can see whenever a ww gets the dance of chi-ji buff, and it’ll come baseline with the icon for serenity/storm earth fire.
it’s not the only plate addon but it’s been the easiest to just roll with in my experience
Just google wago.io and mes’ pack is pretty complete but might be jarring at first with how much stuff it alerts.
I have to delete my interface folder time to time because all those bells and whistles can end up distracting or you just go snowblind from it all

not in pvp, i get all i need right now out of gladiusex, bigdebuffs, omnibar and flyplatebuffs.
if you’re more of an audio cue person then WA or glossa could serve you better, but i would strongly entreat you to give yourself a chance with game sound. they do a lot of work distinguishing most ability noises in the game, it’s pretty helpful
