We told you so

I absolutely agree! I think PvP gear should take time to get and PvP titles should take skill to get. Access to the gear will increase player activity for sure

Rating requirements on arena gear made it harder for your average “10 game a week” player to acquire items.
Teams starting at 0 rating destroyed casual team hopping to the point where it’s not even wroth the time.
Extremely long queue times for majority of players (horde) made it hard to acquire competitive PvP gear to step into arenas.

A lot of players that rolled horde specifically to play arenas were turned off by the long queue times and gave up on the game entirely.

You mean when Blizzard went and did its thing without regard to whatever feedback was given?

I mean, it pretty much did, but that didn’t matter. Much like a lot of changes that have happened, and gotten massive “nope. There are these issues with this.” feedback that has been ignored. In Retail and Classic.

The elite who are actually still playing and queueing for arenas.

With all the inner turmoil going on at blizzard that has been revealed lately I think the employees are actively sabotaging the game.

Who in their right mind doubles down on changes that are actively causing them to lose subscribers?

The reason they removed all references to Afriasabi is that they live in his and older devs’ shadows, the game they make today will never be as good as the game the old devs built, so they must get rid of their legacy and claim they’re cleansing wow.

Sad way of thinking, even sad way of living.
