Kind of surprised that PVE players haven’t complained enough about this to get something done, suppose they just rely on warcraft logs now?
This thing is so beyond useless and its not like you can sift through combat logs in any given moment as if what you’re looking for is more than like 10 globals back its prob no longer in the window.
Its like out of habit after a game I go to check things on meter to see what was doing what and half the time it didn’t record everything and the other half you’re just reminded there is next to no useful information available on it.
Super annoying trying to determine the usefulness of talents etc in PvP when so many of them have PvP modifiers. Even more frustrating when the damage meter lumps in certain talents with other abilities so you can’t even distinguish between them. Unable to track the uptime on auras to determine proc rates.
They definitely took multiple steps backwards on this one
I must be using the WoW damage meter incorrectly as I can’t find a way to view a breakdown of individual hits. Surely there’s no way everyone using it is ok with just seeing damage grouped by ability with no detailed breakdown. I have to be missing something.
Detailed damage breakdown and logs was unfortunately too difficult for the average player to parse. Good thing Big Blizzard stepped in to remove any potential for confusion.
What if the meters also gave you encouragement as well.
“Your damage is great! Ignore the haters.”
“Have you tried the one button rotation?”
“Big numbers are just a construct of the mind. What’s in your heart is really what matters.”
It was just fallout from them killing WA. They all pulled data from the api log and that had to die.
lol. I mean, at this point, you KNOW someone is having fun with this. Some dev that didn’t get invited to a raid 10 years ago is finally getting pay back on all the gatekeepers!!!1
