We oppose the 30-per-day cap!

I don’t need “100 instances a day to run [my] ten characters.” Stop projecting. I need Blizzard to not place restrictions on my one (not 10) character so I can help guildies and be social in dungeon groups while also farming for my MCP. You might be used an MMO without any social interaction in retail, but this is Classic. Adjust.

The actual nice thing is that Blizzard may actually investigate some posters to see if they’re botting, and they may actually decide to investigate actual bots when they find people like me don’t bot, but that they can do it pretty easily - and that Blizzard can find out pretty easily too.

Here’s hoping.

I use around 10-12 pummelers because BWL is progression. Not everyone has been playing on Classic since release. No, I use them on bosses. Why are you trying to look for excuses and attacking me rather than addressing the actual change? I don’t have a single mage alt (Blizzard go check it ty).

True. Sadly it’s going to be the complainers(cheaters/botters), who make the most noise about the changes, and some people are likely to be persuaded that they’re the majority.

Actual players who feel the negative impact of this change are the plurality (check the stats above). Nice strawman.

In progression yet min-maxing  in your only logged feral raid you used at max 4 pummelers.

“N-N-NOOOOOOO! Blizzard you can’t just limit instance gold runs! I just finished setting up my bot farm! I didn’t even get to use it yet!”

“Hehe instance block goes ting ting”

Not everyone logs. I personally only ever used it to improve my own gameplay, and to give to people who could help me improve.

Why would I not use MCP? It’s not a flask and I use far more than 4 per raid, I just don’t log raids. It’s easy to farm and I even use it in 5 mans if I have any left over after raids. I fail to see your point.

Although I don’t oppose the new rule, I fully support this thread. Whenever Blizzard makes a new rule, some players disagree with it.

BUT those players often see problems that Blizzard devs did not see. Telling Blizzard about problems is the kind of feedback Blizzard needs. In some cases, that feedback has even caused Blizzard to change their decision.

Here OP gives a lot of detail - great! That is what Blizzbrain needs.

bots just play on another server and rotate every few hrs. this literally doesn’t hurt anyone but hardcore players

I had not thought about it this way, but my druid will be completely unplayable if this implementation is not reverted.

There need to be a new way to solve the bot issue.

My best suggestion is to verify players either through banking or submitting a valid passport picture. This should unlock the account the limit. If there is a viable way of verifying users they might as well make more limitations also to force more and more players to do this.

@blizz please add this to the suggestions box when read this.

Honestly, they should just

Blizzard owns the bot/gold selling sites.

Gee, I wonder why Blizzard resisted creating Classic servers for so many years … :joy:

worst “community” ive ever seen lol so toxic and angry compared to retail

The terrain exploits in AV were with us for over a decade too, as was the ability to MC players out of BGs. Blizzard eventually got around to fixing those once their attention was called to them. MCP nerf incoming thanks to all this whining.
