This isnt gonna have perfect grammar or spelling or punctuation but it is going to have a lot of passion. if you are the type of person who cries at even the mention of a streamer, look away. This is me trying to get others fighting for a mop classic even pushed up before cata.

Mists of pandaria is by far the best expansion ever for pvp, it had beautiful leveling, 90 boosts, pvp gearing was q up arena with a geared friend, get full gear in a few hours, THEN YOU JUST PLAY THE GAME, the class design was immaculate, you had so many insane buttons. Every single class was fun, I personally played sub rogue (insane) arms warrior (INSANE) and holy priest (INSANE AND I HATE PLAYING HEALER)

for instance, whats annoying about warrior? being rooted well guess what buddy, intervene got you out of root, what if your partner isnt in line to vene or it wouldnt be a high value intervene that would help you charge back to your target? i can answer that, you had banners you could place down, and intervene those! LOL SOOOOO SICK! WHO DESIGNED THIS? it was insane!!!

STREAMER TRIGGER WARNING Or going out to durotar on tichondrius and seeing CDEW JUST CHILLIN, Dillypoo dueling, pikaboo DUELING, a 2k warrior duel hero beating the fire mage god hansol for the first time and yelling " F*** YES!!!" and a huge crowd around watching, HUNDREDS of people in durotar just chillin dueling making friends getting tips from eachother learning getting better.

MITCH JONES THE LAW having the most hype/ best streams ive ever seen as the arcane dream, dude i cant stress this enough, what we are playing is trash, wrath is not good, maybe the pve is and you guys who love pve i absolutely respect that, but mop is the pinnacle of this game and also the last good version there has ever been. i understand you will agree and belittle or say s12 KFC hunters 1 shotting bla bla bla. it means nothing, s14,15,16 were the best seasons of any expansion ever

PLEASE fight for mop and fight for it to be bumped up and a permanent staple of the wow servers. I promise all you manly men who didnt wanna play because pandas, you will love this.

***EDIT Please START NOW Working with people from stormforge private server so we don’t need to use legion engine, it feels horrible and buggy, please care about ur community for once

Cats I could take or leave,

After p1 wrath is pretty great too imo,

P1 is pretty average imo

Just to make sure I understand: your idea of the perfect expansion is take a level boost to max, have a geared friend act as your crutch for a few hours so that you can get equally geared, then just coast for 2 years until the next expansion, which you will enjoy less?

No exploring the world. No challenging yourself with new content. No learning all the different nuances of your class. Just a race for the best gear, which you’re not really earning because your friend is carrying you and you didn’t even have to bother to level up yourself, then dominating the arenas?

Enjoy the game however you want, but I will not be joining your push to make this the norm.

just to make sure you understand, cause it seems like you took 30 mins typing this mustering all your brain power to make it sound like a bad thing that you could play any class you want without spending the entire phase leveling a new one, have a friend help you get full geared fast (what everyone wants) and having all the cool stuff like the red enchant/ tabards being behind rating requirement, and everyone did explore the world, boosts came later in xpac just like every xpac, there were tons of mounts to farm around pandaria, the achievement where u fly around getting all of the treasure for the tabard, beautiful xpac and i honestly dont want you to help me, just from your comments alone you seem like youre the type of person who needs to be completely alone on a backwater server unable to complete a raid to have fun, and that isnt the vibe i need as an adult that doesnt have infinite time :slight_smile: glad i could clear this up for you

also “coast 2 years” the hell does that even mean lol. you mean play arena for 2 years? ummm YES PLEASE

gearing in mop wasnt meant to be a month long process like in wotlk and tbc. they wanted everyone to be on the same playing field, its not raiding for full bis, its arena.

you got the gear then CLIMBED RATING, you didnt just sit there, it wasnt a status symbol to be fully geared in mop, the gladiator tabard, title , and enchant illusion was.

0 gear was behind a rating requirement, if you wanted to climb rating youd have to learn your nuances of your class, just like every version of wow ever… weird angle of attack tbh

Only if you give me an option to turn all pandas into humans and orcs so I don’t have to see pandas in my fantasy game about space goats.

I honestly think that the hard dungeons and raids that people hated in cata will be loved by the Classic community.

You shouldn’t look at only the PvP, WoW isn’t a PvP game, it has other elements that shouldn’t be overlooked.

You can stick your streamers right up your back door. Streamers are one of the reasons why this experiment of Classic has become corrupted and full of toxic children parroting whatever their favorite carried through raids streamer god says they should say/do/think.

MoP was a very good expansion. That said, no need to skip other expansions. You can wait an extra year for Cata to be consumed.

To be 100% honest, I am almost exactly the player you describe. I am very casual and no longer get too fussed about ratings or ilevels or raid progression. Sure, everyone enjoys those things but, like you, I am an adult now and have other priorities. I have come to accept the fact that my days of epic raids and high arena ratings are in the past. For me, it’s pug raids and bgs. I’ll do my best to be at the top of the damage meters, but probably won’t get there.

But, after reading through the comments, I must admit that I have the minority opinion. Apparently MoP really was the peak of pvp. I don’t remember it that way. I remember MoP as the expansion that revamped the talent system in disappointing ways. It was the beginning, for me, of a string of disappointing expansions with Legion being sort of an outlier that I really enjoyed.

So far, I like Dragonflight much more than anything since Cata. Probably not a coincidence that Cats was when I last had the time to devote to high level end game. But maybe I will go back and try MoP again (when it’s available). Time changes perspective on these things and maybe it is better than I remember.

Either way, you should play the game however brings you the most enjoyment, and I’ll do the same.

I am like that too now. Already did the high level stuff in retail. Not going to sweat over Classic stuff and just do things that are fun.

Bump.

This is the Xpac that made me quit Warcraft during the original run. I was appalled at the casual mockery the game had become.

There is nothing redeemable, or sought after, from Wrath and beyond. It’s retail and it has no room being considered “classic”
