I will with the knife fight keep it up, old man!
Whatâs going on in here?
Hey âŚhey⌠You donât bring a bow and arrow to a dagger fight!
Thats it, where did I leave my Orcish CatapultâŚ
I do, all the time, but you know that already.

Look, at the end of the day it is not enough to call on us to come play on the Horde side.
There arenât any real social hubs. Community events are few and far between (or poorly advertised) and there are very, very few âestablishedâ guild THEMES to choose from.
If you want to peak interest I would suggest breathing some life into a social hub (IE Stormwindâs Mage Quarter/Lionâs Rest) on a regular basis before asking us to come over and try out red.
If 100 Alliance players made characters Horde side right now, very few would stay. Thereâs nothing to do, nothing to interest us.
Actually theyâre advertised just fine here, in the UH Discord, in CoQ Discord, in the MG Event Discord, on tumblr and everywhere else.
Wyvernâs Tail in VoH, Orgrimmar is a hub to start in.
In that case then, the events are sparse and likely donât spark our interest. I personally donât care for Horde RP or the players iâve encountered there on an OOC basis so I could be jaded in that iâm not really looking.
I would highly suggest putting this in the foreground, perhaps even with screen shots of the locale on a busy night/day.
EDIT:
Point and case. These are the kinds of players you will constantly encounter Horde-side. Under the guise of a helpful and community-oriented demeanor many Horde players I have encountered are very self righteous and very, very quick to cast shade.
Not that the Alliance doesnât have its fair share, but frankly Horde players have been, in my opinion, toxic in a very subtle way that really grinds peoplesâ gears.
Flywheel like all of us is passionate because weâve been hard at work to better the Horde side of Moon Guard. It never fails that some players on Alliance side pop in the usual weekly to monthly Horde RP? Thread that experiences and interactions are bad and they should look elsewhere.
Never have I ever seen such on Alliance RP threads from anyone on Horde side crying out that Alliance side has bad people or negative experiences. Horde side as a general rule knows that both factions have their good and bad and despite this, weâre doing what we can with what we have to keep promoting, to keep raising activity as best as we can. We donât need folks beating the faction down any further when we already realize and know very well the obstacles Horde side on MG faces from a narrative expansion stand point, to sheer numbers, etc.
Did you even scroll bother to read this thread? If you had scrolled up about 10 posts you would have seen exactly this, which I posted yesterday. Please put a bit more thought and research into your comments.
What you are looking for is both in this thread and all over the MG Realm Forum. This comment did not need to exist, but it seems like you just really wanted to say it anyway to fit in.
Good job tripping over yourself anyway.
Iâm sure what you meant in place of âourâ was âme.â As I do not speak for the entirety of the horde, Iâm sure you nor any one individual speaks for the entirety of the alliance. When one acts as if what they say goes for all, then they open themselves and the side they represent to generalizations.
If you think our goal is helpless, futile, and you donât wish to assist in any way that moves us towards our goal written in the OP here then why even read this topic? Why reply? When one does those things they come off insincere and for lack of a better word as a troll.
Please donât mind the Alliance trolls. A lot of us here on the Alliance side REALLY want MG horde Rp to grow.
Well, otherâs certainly got to you first.
You canât appeal to everyone, some alliance events people donât go to either becuase it doesnât âinterestâ them.
Wyvernâs Tail has been advertised for months if not longer - especially since a Wednesday Tavern night happens every week.
These posts of yours show you did not read this thread nor do you pay attention to the horde threads. Which is fine, really. Some play one faction only and others play both. To each their own.
As for the toxic, that is both sides for sure. But Flywheelâs comment wasnât nearly as toxic as some of the others in here biting at everything people were saying.
But, like I said to another earlier; you gave us a problem, give a solution. Or idea. Same concept.
Thanks Aennidariesh. A little bit of support is all weâre asking for. Comments like yours give us a little bit of hope to keep fighting the trolls trying to bring us down.
Much <3
Canât help but notice that every blue poster thatâs come in here outside of the OP and one other person has been torn to bits when just trying to help. Thatâs a fabulous way to get people to help you, last I checked.
Ib4: âThatâs fine, we didnât want you anyway.â
Just like she says to everyone who comes in with a legitimate issue.
I am blue and I have been treated with respect.
All she has done is basically complain about how MG horde is jerks but having played MG horde ppl there are very nice
Also this applies to you as well.
Yes, itâs amazing how much energy these âtrollsâ have in trying tear something down. Surely it could be put to better use? I mean, we need to support our cause, which is to support MG Horde. But what is their cause, exactly?
In any case, we can argue with them, or we can keep pointing out all the positive work that weâve been doing. Sometimes people donât read our posts and blindly ignore all the good stuff, so we have to repeat ourselves. Thatâs okay. Weâre dedicated, and we know that change doesnât happen overnight.
But the good news is, change is happening. Weâre seeing more and more people coming over to Horde every day. Not all of them stay, but theyâre giving it a try. Any contribution is appreciated. Many people have contacted me (whom have never posted on forums) and told me that they appreciate all the work weâve been doing and would love to see MG Horde grow. I get told in private because they donât want to open themselves up to attack on a public forum.
It takes a lot of guts to create change. Challenging perceptions is a big one. I feel that weâre also battling people who are disgruntled because they tried to make a difference, but it didnât work out for them. Thatâs okay. Thank you for trying.
The other people that I am often contacted by are people who want to try Horde RP, and they want to help MG Horde, but everything is very unfamiliar and scary to them. Itâs hard when you donât know anyone, when youâre by yourself, when youâre not familiar with how to RP the races on Horde side. I also have people who have had bad experiences with RP police, and they want to know whether people are going to leap down their throats if they get it wrong.
I want to commend people like this. You are really brave. You want to help, and be a part of a community that cares and supports each other. If you message almost any of the Horde people in this thread, we would all gladly take you under our wing and help you find your place in any way we can.
Thanks everyone who is reading this thread. I know there are some really loud voices, but the quiet readers are just as important.
