It would be very nice to have the character specific macro page not only expanded, but also have a separate tab for each spec of the characters class in addition to the general macro page
I only bring this issue up because I play my priest who’s mostly shadow, but I also play disc occasionally. However my disc spec has a LOT of macros and I’ve run out of room.
Some of my disc macros are in the general macro page that all my alts use. My warlock has the same issue. Between the macros I use for all 3 specs I’ve run out of room and they’ve spilled out into the general tab
It would just be nice to have spec-specific tabs as well as the general tab. It would let us keep everything nice and organized
TL;DR Please expand the macro tabs to include a tab for each spec.
Look at this cutie, so smart too. 100% support more macro slots as well as better macro conditionals (based on mob hp, number of targeted enemies within X yards of your target etc) and more characters allowable per macro
Now this is an excellent example of an ask for more that is actually about improving the game as oppose to just making it faster and easier to get stuff.
Would be a great change.
Should see if you can catch one of the Community Council member’s attention on this.
Normally I’d suggest an addon, specially I’d suggest this one https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/bind-pad but it’s no longer updated I used it for years because I didn’t want 7 action bars on my screen You can have as many macros as you desire but you may be out of luck if any issues arise :[
(I’d prefer full sized macro tab per class instead of spec, since freedom macros works for all 3 spec for example, with a general macro tab for non class specific macros like target arena/taunt pet/target enemy pet/cancelaura kevin etc)
100% agree with this! Hell, go even further and let us make our own tabs. Even my general tab is to the point I have to scroll a few times to get to the bottom. For now, I’ve made my own Discord channel so I can have an online repository for the more difficult scripts and macros I use across characters that I can’t remember off the top of my head. Being able to have a tab for interrupts, for example, that I can share across characters would be amazing, because some of them are unique to each character, while others share a similar function, but with different abilities.
I think the macro UI in general needs a good overhaul, that should include organization options, and more personal slots.
