It was because two of them were modeled after women who worked there. The others were not. There’s still the fem goblin and the half naked woman with a sheet painting.

That doesn’t change the fact that instead of changing the paintings to look like made up beautiful women, they changed them into bowls of fruit.
Except it does. Because the only reason you people want to make a big deal out of it is this whole “THEY TURNED WOMEN INTO FRUIT” bs, when the point is, they got rid of paintings that weren’t appropriate to be modeled after others.
I’d rather see something entirely different than the same naked woman slightly changed. That’s still an affront to those women.

When I’m unsure what to paint and or draw I draw fruit.
It’s one of the very first things they teach you to draw / paint in high school least around here anyway. Probably needed to replace it ASAP so it was a “what can I paint real fast to replace it” “Fruit…ok that will work”
