I am on atiesh (low horde pop server) cant get a dungeon group together to save my life. your stupid LFG system is useless, cant even get a boost because you broke that too so that people could group up more… WRONG AGAIN!!!

This is the one area anti-RDF people refuse to touch on because they believe any part of the tool is bad.

One of the complaints is folks will sit in ORG or SW and just spam dungeons.
So what?
I like dungeons. I try to level exclusively with dungeons if I can. Heck my prot warrior hit level 70 with a level 20 cloak because I just did dungeons and no other cloak dropped.
Why is my style of gameplay bad? It doesn’t affect you. Don’t like RDF, don’t use it.

It’s almost like… The tool is really good?
Even without RDF, dungeon spamming is the fastest way to level. RDF just makes it easier to find people for spam.

This is true. They had a good thing goimg in retail. Then they tool rdf away by changing the name of heroics to mythic and using that as an excuse to remove rdf. The subs have declined since that change.
the sad reality is I will probably get a buddy with a lvl 70 to clear ZF so I can just do the quests.

I played a LOT of challenge modes in MoD. Those were great but only because I had friends that were interested in them and helping others get the rewards for gold.
M+ replaced the challenge mode and because part of the daily chore cycle. IO scores and “I am not doing that unless it improves my iLvL” mentality plague M+.
Could have been great if M+ stayed challenge mode and not part of the gearing process.
Just remember to tell your buddy to watch out for the new anti-boosting changes! And you’ll get like no mob xp!
I also wish that were true. I like the idea of mytbic +. I am.just not inyo the speed clearing stuff. I agree, if ppl want to do that, maybe give a cosmetic reward like the challeng modes did as you said.
I think the worst reality is when I’m questing, I don’t really run into people.
Lots of folks are at level 70 already, my main is, so when I’m on my alt there aren’t a lot of folks I encounter with just questing.
With dungeons I meet lots of people!
I joined a dungeon group for SM yesterday and by the time I go to the summoning stone, two people left because they didn’t have the time anymore.
Folks want to run dungeons but maybe only have 45 minutes. If it takes 20+ minutes to get the dungeon started then people only have 20 or so minutes and they might not have time for the whole dungeon.
45 minutes is enough time to run the dungeon, not enough time to go there and run it.
I’m convinced most of the folks who aren’t for RDF clearly just have all the free time in the world and don’t have issues with limited playtime.
To add to that story. We lost a tank after one run. After losing two folks before the run and then having to reform the group that takes another 15+ minutes, I didn’t want to play my priest anymore.
RDF will keep players like myself playing because it increases the access of groups for dungeons. It also mixes up the questing, which I’ve already done in classic and classic SoM.
I don’t want to level in Azeroth anymore. I’ve done that! What I’m not tired or and never will get tired of, is group content in an MMORPG, but that group content is hard to come by at certain times of the day.

My warr is still 31… I’d be max level by now if we had RDF.
RDF is an accessibility tool. Anyone who is against it, generally, simply doesn’t want others to have fun. Because if it’s not their way of play, it’s “wrong”.

well ya, you really cant have one without the other. The point of my post is that this is an issue that not many of the anti-rdf people have addressed, in their quest to ruin other peoples gamming experience

The common denominator in all your failed groups is you.
sure being social is not my strong suit and maybe some other people find groups easily.
but if that’s the case why should I not have access to a feature that was in the game originally?
why should I be forced into uncomfortable situations in a game that is supposed to be relaxing and fun
