I don’t know. When it comes to Wrath I’ll use it mostly because the bonus bags are nice. But I like putting in the legwork to build a group and get to the dungeons. I’m big on immersion. And hopefully people will still use this option when Wrath comes.

Group finder came out in Wraith …3.3.0…I do know my game now…I was there live when it happened…there was a LFG in chat but not a popup box type one we have now.

I personally believe there’s something called being too faithful to the original.
Anything created to make group finding easier would be more beneficial than harmful.

Type /join LookingforGroup

Say something like “LFM MT.” That means Looking for More Mana Tombs.

And then invite the people who whisper you. You made need to repeat the second step a few times.

You may also change your message to something like LF Tank for MT. This means Looking for Tank Mana Tombs.

YES it needs to be in the game, BLIZZARD said they were going to rework the Looking For Group interface pane that was released when patch 2.0.1 came out in TBC 2006

For now however

Players can take matters into their own hands and many thousands of players have already done so by using good LFG addons like ClassicLFG or Puggle or even both together.

Until Blizz decide what they are doing.

I wish we had a slightly better tool than the current LFG channel, it’s spammed all day and moves too fast. It takes a very long time to find a group sometimes

And here i am typing up a big response about LFD. In any case agree OP, as long as cross server does not come in, group finder will help immensely with community building as well.
