We need Group Finder A-S-A-P

We need that to streamline and organize groups better.

There are lots of people looking for tanks, healers and damage dealers for a greater number of different dungeons, and yet it is a getting a bit lost in the LFG channel.

There is a shortage of tanks, yes, but it is aggravated with the impossibility of following up like 100 messages per minute in the LFG channel, if not more.

The tool was part of TBC, but we don’t need that old version that would’ve had to be coded.
We can use the same version from Retail.
It is easier.
It is efficient.
It is good.
It helps to know exactly what we are looking for.

Since we already had some changes to the game, having a better tool (and HAVING a tool) for dungeon or group finder is definitely going to help improve the game.

EDIT:

TL;DR;

I am not talking about the LFD dungeon that will queue you up and meet you with random persons automatically, that was introduced later on Wrath.

I am talking about the group finder that existed in OG TBC, using the current interface of Retail LFG, which basically lets you list your group and the leader will decide who invites etc.

Amirite?

Dungeon Finder will be here with Wrath of the Lich King and if it’s cross-realm we can definitely wait for that game-killing garbage. However, it is curious that we still don’t have the old Looking For Group tool that was part of The Burning Crusade.

You say that, but I feel you are going to push to have it removed when the time comes in wrath and that has me worried.

Try Puggle, works like a charm.

Nah. The absolute worst change Wrath brought, and it’s not alone.

Well, if we are going in that direction, remove all the changes including Tinnitus and pally seals, and just give the OG TBC group finder.

I am not talking about the Looking for Dungeon with queue.
I am talking about the tool that lets you find people that wants to do the same dungeon.

It is totally different.

You have to clarify this point hard because people hate being teleported to the dungeon and cross realm. This is what people are scared of including me

Agreed. So maybe you shouldn’t call it “Dungeon Finder” because that’s the one that’s a queue system with auto-grouping and teleport to instance.

The name of that is Looking for Dungeon(LFD), not Dungeon Finder.

So you don’t know how google works. Cool story, lol. :joy:

What Google has to do with this topic, my dear?

I am talking about the tool that existed and should exist in TBC that allows players to find others to do their dungeons.

I am not talking about LFD tool that was introduced in WoTLK with auto-teleport to dungeon.

If you can’t understand this simple information I explained in the OP, you’re simply trolling in this thread.

Or just stop using LFG chat as Barrens chat.

I’m not sure how it is in Pagle, but it is not like barrens chat and yes it is crowded with people looking for more or looking for group.

Instead of trolling, you should go level your character.

Dungeon Finder has been used by Blizzard to describe the system as well. LFG is what the retail system is that still requires manual entry and grouping.

Then what we need is for people to stop using the LFG channel as a global chat.

I call this “talking to other people”.

Look, you can run Outlands content in retail, with all the NEAT features that add convenience - so go do that.
Please leave classic alone.

You probably missed the part where I said that there are way too many people using the same channel to find more people and it is becoming hard for people to connect with.

The Group Finder tool that existed in TBC helped groups to be formed. Sadly you weren’t there to understand what I am talking about, so that is why I hoped that you would’ve read the thread instead just trolling.

Easy bait, worst troll ever.

As long as theres no automatic match-making I don’t mind having UI that shows who is LFG.

The LFG system should be there and frankly I’d be perfectly happy with the one that existed in TBC.

The LFD system that is automatic is a different beast entirety and apparently lots of people confuse the two :upside_down_face:

Yes, I was.

If you can’t find a group of people with similar interests in a global chat, try guild chat.

If you are too busy or anti social to be bothered with making in game connections to accomplish your goals, then seriously - try retail.

What is the point of “classic” if we just have all the retail anti social garbage added to it?
