No. Hardcore has always been an at-your-own-risk game mode in every HC-optional game. There’s no need to start catering to people who use an addon that was never really HC in the first place now that there’s a real HC mode. Go use your addon if you prefer that.
get better internet, brokey
Imagine coming to a Garmuck thread, throwing down with an edgy insult like that, and thinking you won the internets.
I’m paranoid about gathering solo, if I dc I’m dead. Me and my leveling partner only gather together so we can save eachother. 99% of the time it’s silly, overreacting. We’re both scared of a dc death.
If dcs logged you out faster we’d be okay but it would be abused if added. WoW tbh was just never designed for HC and every blizzard game offers a bad HC experience.
That said, HC at 60 offers fun content. Just a shame they couldn’t moderate Classic well enough to of had it then.
It’s easy enough to fake a DC, though. If we had appeals for DC, Blizz would be overwhelmed with appeals from players magically DC’ing as soon as a pull goes south.
Blizz don’t care and they don’t have the manpower to check every death. I have 2 DC death one at 24 and one at 39… just roll Classic ERA way more alive then HC mode.
I haven’t had a HC Official death yet, but imagine if I ever could do what would that imagine like in my feelings?
I feel like I should be able to pre-appeal my death. OP has the right idea, but it’s too late once you’re dead already to go to the maximum you could ever be while having more to go on.
We need to be able to pre-appeal and have a button we can into the heart of Azeroth and she will hear us, one time, before we die, appealing to our one life so that there will be no dying.
Please allow pre-appeal to stop the needless disconnect and replace with the safety feeling.

Please allow pre-appeal to stop the needless disconnect and replace with the safety feeling.
You die, you die.
But what if you don’t die… because you pre-appeal.
There will be no death to appeal.

But what if you don’t die… because you pre-appeal.
You die, you die.
Saw a warrior die at level 52 falling through the world.
Theres DC deaths…
…Then there is poorly coded world scripting where Blizzard has had an oversight which is completely unfair.
I know some people are like “death is a death”, but this is a death which for all intents and purposes should not have resulted in a death to begin with. Falling through the world was not at all the fault of the player.
100% should be appealable

“death is a death”
You die, you die.

intensive porpoises
Fixed that for you.

You die, from a bug, you should be able to appeal.
Fixed that for you.
Flaw in Blizzards coding must have a safeguard.
Disconnections have too many variables to consider of whether it was legitimate or not.
Falling through the world is not at fault at all of the player.
You agreed to play with out appeals
get better internet
In the USA that is kinda hard for them to do they have to keep it monopolized and charging $100+ for subpar speeds

not at fault at all of the player.
We’re not here to assign blame.
You die, you die.
Seasonal servers can’t come soon enough. Blizz, get it together, these guys need a safer fresh to play!

Blizz, get it together, these guys need a safer fresh to play!
So once the freshies get their space and the cries for appeals continue, we can point and laugh at the addon weaklings. Yay!
If only speed had anything to do with stability.
Slippery slope, let’s not forget that activision has a hardawn for streamers, which means if a streamer dies, they’ll give them back their character every time, while non streamers get nothing.
Also, where are these magic gm’s you’re talking about that will be there to look at the death appeals?
The gm’s that don’t exist because they were all fired ten years ago?
