We need buffet classes

When i play a shaman, i dont get to use all three specs at the same time. I have the options for talents of the spec im in.

What Blizzard should do is let us make a class that gives me the option to pick 3 specs on one toon. For example, i want to make a toon that is:

  1. Affliction
  2. Havok
  3. Unholy

When im in that spec, i have everything any other player would. If im unholy i use the UH and DK trees.

When i spec swap to Vengeance i get the Veng and DH spec.

It would make the game a lot more fun. Just let us customize the hell out of things. With all races/all classes, and the story being what it is, why pretend class fantasy exists? Just further move away from WoW classic. Let Classic+ get the story/lore crowd, and make retail fun.

That’s how I thought it would be with the trees. But instead I lost Bladestorm. Which sure was Arms first. But Fury had access to it for years and I feel it fits Fury’s spin to win style more than Ravager.

We, in general, for humanity, need more gourmet hot dog buffets.
Seriously I’m pretty sure this was originally the idea behind talents, but min/maxing and big numbers have proven to be more interesting to players than rp.

Hey, wait! I don’t want to play Classic. I like lore & story. Why suddenly make a player be forced, yet again, to be pushed into something they don’t want to play?

This would probably be super easy to balance too. I say let’s do it.

The time has come to choose. Let no man claim ignorance as an excuse. Story, lore, class fantasy theyre all boring. Theyll go to classic or ill destroy them.

Why would balance change at all? I feel like you dont get the concept.

Brat!

Maybe if the trees were more like FF10 tree sphere. You start in your normal zone and can gradually unlock into other areas away from your core abilities

I just want the option to choose ravager or bladestorm.

I wouldn’t mind having warlock access. But obviously access to priest would be far away

He does have one of my overall favorites (and one I think holds up quite well in life):

“It was justice,” Stannis said. “A good act does not wash out the bad, nor a bad act the good. Each should have its own reward. You were a hero and a smuggler.”

Though I’m sure someone else said this first, that’s the first place I saw it.

Oh god no, just no.

The trees are a hot mess as is

This is technicaly what Ascension is which is free to play and you can build whatever into your specs.

Star Wars Galaxies class design was so awesome. 34 professions (classes) that you could mix and match.

I really love that kind of freedom.

I mean you could just let people play all specs on one character :yum::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Especially considering this would have no impact on balance at all:

When im in that spec, i have everything any other player would. If im unholy i use the UH and DK trees.

The thing is that M+ score and pvp rating should probably become spec-based at that time. To be fair, you could say that a spec based M+ score would be appropriate now. I don’t know feral for example but I could probably get into an 18 and play feral on my druid.

Actually,i think it’ll be good to have an added talent tree that have special talents for all to swap to,just for flavor.

Well,not too subatomic eek!

“WoW keeps getting rid of RPG elements!!”

“anyways. can we just delete the entire concept of classes and class lore?”
