You don’t even need to do it fully. I know a lot of crafters. I don’t know a single person who’s even cared about KP’s since the first month of the expansion. We’re all just hanging out with incomplete trees, which is fine because an incomplete tree can make anything you want.
Yep. I just started filling in parts of the trees I rarely use. Weapon enchants and blasphemite gems are making the most gold. It’s all about using your inspiration to make r3 mats for other crafters with my other professions and hoping for multi craft procs.
Mats are dropping in price every day. I’ll probably spend 100k soon to stock up for the next season when they go back up.
How do you do this?
Runed crest, sparks and valor stones. +4 keys are super easy and will give you all the items you need.
If your main is maxed with all reps you get 4 crest on all alts as rep rewards which makes it even easier to gear up.
Enchanting is pretty easy to catch up, make a bunch of low level bracers with LW, BS, or tailoring. You get a point nearly every disenchantment until you catch up.
You can gather three base ore types: Bismuth, Ironclaw Ore, and Aqirite, with Finesse procs increasing the amount mined. my point was there are a lot of different materials and each has a different rank or level or whatever you wanna call it. It’s not like mists of Pandaria where there was one type of or.
Can you link the source of this? I would love to know for sure so I can stop beating myself up on all my crafter alts right now lol
The idea behind profession knowledge is two fold.
One to keep raiding expensive in order to move more wow tokens for those pushing mythic early.
Two, limit the amount of high quality mats entering the market via bots.
Quick catch ups hinder both desired outcomes.
Yeah, I get that.
But you dont have to craft every item at every rank.
Right, and its also not like MoP where you can actually make useful stuff now.
Not sure how a catch-up mechanic would work Professions given you’d want to be able to get both level and talent skills.
I do think level progression for some Professions could be made simpler, especially for Black Smithing.
engineers don’t make anything useful now. In fact, I don’t remember the last useful thing I’ve made since mop. But either way that was the only point I was making is that there were several levels of several orders to make several items at several levels to improve your recipes yada yada yada
They make a some useful stuff for open world pvp
and I don’t do open world PVP so I stand by my statement like I said it’s an opinion we all have them you guys approve of professions. I don’t. I approve of the marksman changes. A lot of people don’t. That’s the purpose of discussion. I’m allowed to come in here and say that professions suck. Because in my own personal opinion, professions suck. It’s neither a fact nor fiction simply an observation.
I missed 2 weeks while in the hospital in November. I’m still not caught up with alchemy after a month and a half. The problem is you get 14 more alchemy points every week and a lot of those points are from patron orders. I’m lucky to catch up by 1 point per week right now. The closer you get to being caught up, the less often the catch-up orders show up. I log in every day and it’s just a couple of acuity orders for most of the week.
Engineering is always funky with extreme levels of usefulness or worthlessness.
Yeah, but I was just saying. I think people get overwhelmed/overstimulated/etc when looking at current crafting and dont realize at its base how simple it really is.
I am just happy that over all, professions are finally useful for crafting.
well, let’s just say I was never overstimulated in classic or the first four expansions. But ever since then, in my personal opinion and observation for me individually, they have become convoluted.
shrug
and thats fine.
I am just happy we have stuff to actually craft at end game, where before we didnt and it made professions useless outside of their passive bonus.
shrug. And that’s fine. Like I said, it’s just my opinion.
What are you unable to make?
