The key depletion needs to be removed. Of course you should still have the option to deplete it yourself if you wanted to. But not 2-3 chesting it and not upgrading your key should really be the only punishments you get. It’s weird they refuse to remove the depletion
Well usually if you run out of time in a raid the boss just kills you and go from the start again, so I guess that’s the compromise. You can complete it for loot / rewards, but you lose the key.
I wonder which would be more preferred, depletions, or keys resetting when the time runs out.
Why is effort only based on reaction time? I have run over 400 delves and that took some non-small amount of effort to minimize the time a run would take, figure out how to use the delve mechanics to my advantage and a pretty big time commitment.
Doing easy content forever isn’t quite the same as doing harder content.
Or why not have killing 10,000 wolfs in Elwyn Forest give a mythic track item since that requires a big time commitment?
I dunno dude it still would be nice if that information existed out there and I didn’t have to just like, already know it based on the vibes of the dungeon.
Are you really that incapable of doing it yourself to the point where you need. essentially, a presentation of every notable instance? That, as a personal lack of ability, is pretty bad.
Nah, I know about that, but I was actually just talking about general tips for gate placements in dungeons.
Got you. Yeah. People don’t do that because its either self explanatory, or you get told by the group leader/raid leader during the content.
t’s impossible to find
No it isn’t. You literally just do it.
It seems like I only find out about stuff like this from other people complaining about it, or by watching a streamer.
If you never experiment yourself or just look for things yourself, its no wonder you only ever hear about it from people who do.

Keys resetting isn’t a bad idea, in all honesty, but I understand why they don’t.

Alright then I guess I’m just too bad to do M+
If you never experiment yourself or just look for things yourself, its no wonder you only ever hear about it from people who do.
Or maybe I just don’t like being yelled at for doing it wrong/being bad, so I’d rather come as prepared as possible
Alright then I guess I’m just too bad to do M+
With that attitude, sure. No one is saying that but you though.
Or maybe I just don’t like being yelled at for doing it wrong/being bad,
I am 99% sure this is just you projecting onto the people trying to educate you because they weren’t the nicest people ever doing it, and not that anyone was actually yelling, cursing, or otherwise aggressively communicating with you.
Especially when you are here talking about a warlock while posting on a hunter.
With that attitude, sure. No one is saying that but you though.
What attitude exactly? Just wanting more info about M+ to be out there so I can come more prepared?

No, like I said here:
And it’s not just something as miniscule as warlock gate placement, it’s like understanding how certain abilities work on specific mobs in specific dungeons and stuff, too. I constantly see people complaining about people not knowing that their class can mitigate mechanics on mobs and I genuinely had no idea they could do that because that information just isn’t anywhere that’s easy to find. It seems like I only find out about stuff like this from other people complaining about it, or by watching a streamer.
It comes from reading about and seeing other people complaining about people they played with in M+ not knowing how a certain ability works on a certain mechanic in M+, and that people complaining about it is the only way I ever find that information to begin with.
You can’t be like “just do M+ and figure it out yourself” when the community at large is constantly complaining about people doing exactly that and how no one knows what they’re doing/are bad. The solution to that problem is just to have more information on M+ readily available.
And honestly my hot take is that the reason for this is because a lot of this info gets passed around Discords and it’s a lot harder for people to find as easily. I hate that the majority of info on this game is now passed around Discord instead of being available in guides or on forums. Discord is just a terrible platform for finding information on stuff and it shouldn’t be used for that.
Seems neat, m+ elitists will shoot it down because you dont have to sweat for pixels like they want everyone who wants high tier items.
What attitude exactly?
Alright then I guess I’m just too bad
No, like I said here:
I didnt ask.
being yelled at
Is what you literally said.
you dont have to sweat for pixels
You’re being dramatic again.
Is what you literally said.
Yes, I would like to know ahead of time what I should be doing in a key, so people don’t have to tell me, and sometimes be hostile about it.
Is there any reason why you’re opposed to this?
I am 99% sure this is just you projecting onto the people trying to educate you because they weren’t the nicest people ever doing it, and not that anyone was actually yelling, cursing, or otherwise aggressively communicating with you.
When you start reading, I’ll stop reposting what was already said.
Delves kind of help but stopping the grind able gear at 603 and the low amount of crests makes it less beneficial by a long way
Working as intended. Delves are intended to funnel players into mythic+ and raiding, not provide them with a legitimate alternative that is equally entertaining.
When you start reading, I’ll stop reposting what was already said.
I read what you said. I am not projecting, I am telling you that a common complaint I see in the WoW community is that people don’t know how specific abilities/mechanics work in M+. Have you ever seen this yourself within the WoW community like on these forums/Reddit/etc?
Well, I am saying that those complaints are often the only way people learn that is how those abilities/mechanics work in keys, because that info isn’t always readily available out there for people to find.
And I am saying that it should be readily available, so people can find it, learn about it and come better prepared, and then there are less complaints being made. It’s a win/win for everyone.
No, im not.
The timer is really the only thing that makes mythic plus lame. It’s anti pug.

It’s the most pug friendly end game pillar, by a lot.
It’s easy to know why, no raid boss kill would ever take 30 to 40 minutes.
Or why not have killing 10,000 wolfs in Elwyn Forest give a mythic track item since that requires a big time commitment?
This is actually not bad idea. I’d vote for useful reputation gear rewards.
