everyone here knows the horde is the evil faction
Making a whole faction evil is just as boring is making a whole faction good.
No, only ones that say such are:
- trolls
- stupid
- stuck in the past
- any mix of the previous
Horde, at least the PLAYABLE Horde, has not been evil since Vanilla. Dark? yes, violent? certainly, pragmatic? of course, but evil? no way.
I just find it a sign of anyone that canât think beyond black and white to say a one faction is evil when races of that faction tend to be more neutral or good. I myself tend to play Tauren, are the Tauren evil? maybe the Grimtotem if you stretch it a little, and if you add Highmountain, the Feltotem could be included as well.
I also play Horde Pandarin, are they evil or are they ones that just follow a bit of a stupid âact first, think laterâ mindset?
Vulpera are my 3rd prefered race, are they evil? not to anyone with a brain, and they are one of the races that could easily say ALLIANCE are the evil ones.
I have one Blood Elf, my DH, so if anyone can toe the line between good and evil, it is her, but here we run into the issue of âare they really evil, or do we just think they are because they use the tools of evil to fight evil?â
they could do a demon faction â most people think demons are evil?
Plot-twist: make alliance evil
what about demons
Demons? Like the Manâari that are part of the Alliance?
I guess we could use them to convert the rest ⌠Thereâs void beings that are classified as âdemonsâ so perhaps the Void Elves could help.
Ironically, the Alliance is closer to achieving demonism than the Horde are
but the orges are 1/2 demon
Iâm still mad they killed Garrosh instead of making Horde like the old Horde with him at the helm.
What should have happened is Garroshâs Horde and the Horde under Volâjin broke apart, then we could have had a Horde that was closer to evil and one that followed Thrallâs ideals. The factions could have looked like:
Volâjinâs Horde:
Darkspear Trolls
Bloodhoof Tauren (and associated tribes)
Blood Elves
Bilgewater Goblins
Huojin Pandarin
Frostwolf orcs and associated clans
Forsaken
Garroshâs Horde:
Warsong orcs and associated clans (I.E. Dragonmaw)
Grimtotem Tauren
Blackfuse goblins
Alliance:
as it was to begin with
Only reasin I did not separate the forsaken and Blood elves is cause I could not come up with a leader for one of the splinter factions.
Relations between the factions could be Alliance and Volâjinâs horde unfriendly or neutral to each other, but able to get to at least honored with each other. But both would be hostile to Garroshâs horde.
For capitals, Garroshâs Horde would hold Orgrimmar, while Volâjins either made Thunder Bluff or the echo isles theirs, provided they did not just become a faction in exile.
what if the horde merges with the demons and become pure evil
We already do, itâs called the horde
I think that has already been done by 2 playable races, and they are the 2 that can be demon hunters, so does that make Night Elves evil due to Night Elven Demon Hunters (and to be fair, the same question can be asked about Blood Elves).
Excuse me, what races in the Horde are evil? if you say all of them, Iâd say you donât know your lore, or fall into the classic âhumans and friends=good guys, orcs and friends=bad guysâ.
I am Horde, but my race is Tauren, so tell me again that the Horde is evil when my race, and others like the Pandaren and Vulpera are also among the Horde and even races like the Darkspear and orcs have had members that are good.
the horde is the most evil of all
and you are proving that Alliance players are among the most STUPID of all.
I already said that any that think the Horde is evil is:
- stuck in the past
- stupid
- a troll
Do yourself, and evyewrone a favor, and shut up before some of us are tempted to ask Blizzard for a storyline where Alliance is the one that starts the war up again and ends with Horde calling them out on their hypocrasy and ending the Allaicne.
I am of the opinion that an evil faction could be a sub faction within a main faction. These would be the people that are indeed stuck in the past. The Star Trek movie The Undiscovered Country feature such people that do not want to let go of the Federation vs Klingon Empire animosity. And already since Vanilla we have the Shadow Counsil existing, well, within the shadows of the Horde in Ogrimmar. It would be easy enough to whip up something similar for the Alliance. Maybe a conspiracy among some of Stormwinds nobles? Maybe some of them got rich as war profiteers?
Yes it does, itâs timeless. There is a reason morality plays have existed for all of human history.
I donât know why people say this. It always gets on my nerves. If there was an obvious bad guy of shadowlands, it would have been better. Him turning out to be an android who secretly wanted to help us was entirely lame. Therefore there are situations where adding ânuanceâ makes stories way worse.
It also is just often a fun killer. When I play a game, I like to play either good guy or bad guy. Skyrimâs Civil War, for example, was awful. Both choices were just douchebags in different ways and it made me not want to play either storyline.
Gray != Good.
Just kill all the Horde Leaders trying for peace and replace them with bloodthirsty warmongers who either want to enslave everyone or destroy the world. There you go.
It totally would, this game is practically a Saturday morning cartoon as it is. What is more Saturday morning cartoon than two warring factions where no one ever dies?
Alliance needs to be evil for a change and make the Horde good.
Itâll be a nice change of pace instead of continuing making Horde the bad ones all the time.
Time to break the cycle which is always eliminating Horde leaders and Alliance keeping theirs. Our leader death count is higher then Alliances, time to even the playing field.
