I’d be open to the idea of turning demo into a legit tanking spec, it would be a way of adding another possible tanking option into the mix without adding yet another new melee class.
I’d rather see a fourth spec added to shaman for tanking than another new class. Earthbinder spec. Or smaller things like that but I do think a necromancer class would be nice though I feel like it should’ve happened for Shadowlands. I’m still in BFA and haven’t messed with Shadowlands.
I think it would be easier to add another spec to some classes. Shaman tanks sound good, what about sound mages? I would love a gorilla form for druids

As long as it’s not another melee. They haven’t added a new ranged class yet.
Please no new classes until they learn to balance the ones they have.
OR just redo Survival hunter again and call that a new class.

This right here is 100% why we don’t need a new class.
Lets get the races and classes we have now working well before that.
And I can’t recall anyone coming up with a Necromancer that has abilities that do not already exist in the game on other classes. ESO introduced Necromancers, but they are a newer game than WoW and could create fresh abilities unused in their other classes. I mean, you can even make your character a Vampire…which would have been a cool thing for those who wanted to play Venthyr.

First step, start working backwards towards a more Classic WoW feel. I cant really think of anything other than this.

I dont disagree, but they’ve kind of parted out the fantasy to UH DK and Afflic Lock.
And to be honest, based on the lore for thoses classes/specs they have necromancer covered as well.
Honestly, with all of the Easter eggs in SL, I will laugh and laugh when it’s a Bard class next. And I’ll roll one and love every second of it.
A new class that ends up being unpopular, steals leather from rogues and druids while underperforming and being yet another voice in the endless ocean of buff begging.
4th specs would be nice, tho

Bards are support classes.
WoW does not have a support role.
I love Bards elsewhere - why would you want WoW to make a mockery of it?
Sorry to hear you feel that way. Personally, I would relish the idea of playing something as unique as a support class—not a reskinned warlock or a reskinned engineer.
No. They can’t even fix the classes we already have, adding more will not improve the game. They also ran out of ideas for new mechanics several classes ago, that’s why DH and WW fill the exact same roll. It’s why meta, icy touch dispel, etc were all ripped from other classes to be given to havoc.
We do need more ranged. Make survival ranged again so people actually play it.
So you want to be selfish and vengeful over a class, because people gave you logical reasons why not? LOL Okay.

I’d make a class that could only pick up gray items, and through the awesome power of desperation and … well… magic, could change them into useful weapons for survival. We could call them… Recyclers
