They can’t balance what we have now, nor can they make some of them even interesting to play when they revamp them for expansions. The last thing they need is another one to add to that list, imo.

They need to fix the classes/specs we have now. Most of my melee main friends have either rerolled or quit because this patch has been so melee unfriendly. I’m including myself in that - when I actually manage to get on and play current content, I’ve been bringing my Holy Paladin as no one needs a Havoc DH and there are a line of people in my guild/friend circles that tank. I like my Paladin well enough, but my DH is my baby and I miss playing on her actively.

I’ve been feeling that. A lot of my melee alts aren’t getting as much love. Meanwhile I’m all 
for ele shaman, boomkin and fire mage.

I hope we get a new class in the next expac, and if we do, I really hope it’s a ranged class.
This game has somehow lost ranged specs since 2004.
We need content.

I’m making a guess based on things we are seeing in Shadowlands that they are considering Bard.
Should be interesting to see where they go with that…

What an original topic that has never, ever been posted before.
If they can’t implement a new class without cannibalizing a preexisting one then they need to just stop adding classes, maybe do that when they’re willing to use some imagination and creativity again.

The game needs something new though. Of course they cant balance things but once we accept that we can see that a new class would bring in many players. Games need to keep expanding rosters to stay relevant. New playable characters or classes is one of the biggest selling points for most expansions.

No thanks. My favorite classes have already been screwed a number of times over the many years, because they ran out of time to make them playable. And then they go and make new.classes then nerf them into the ground so they’re unplayable.
i like new clas ideal , if no can do a balense it is not a bad , some time u wanna get a boost on u char so if u gogle it the gogle say u can do a talent is more damages dps , it is so good , i try , it is funs

First off, there is no ‘we’. The playerbase is not some hivemind, everyone on this board is an individual.
Second off, the game does not ‘need’ a new class. Is the game playable without a new class? Yes. See, no need.
Third off, you do not ‘need’ a new class. Can you play the game without a new class? Yes. Again, no need.
So, we are left with you want a new class and my reply is sure, why not. It’s not like there are real problems in the game like quest-breaking bugs, phasing issues, scaling issues, ect.
