I could care less about any of that content honestly.
Ran early Ms in SL with different toon at time didn’t enjoy them so stopped bothering with it.
I can run around all day working on using anima if choose to but don’t bother anymore.Geyt what I can where I can and where want to,sometimes even get same peice of gear but updgraded.
Ive got no reason to worry with mythics or raiding when there’s plenty to do that I’m happy with.
Did anyone get anything other than recolors of old content? Think there was what, two people working on season 4?
The vast majority of development effort is already spent on content for solo players. You just don’t want to run leveling quests over and over for months. The only development effort that is exclusively spent on end game content is a few people rebalancing content that already had to be made.
Besides, you’re only level 10. Ask someone near you how to get out of the starter zone.
The content is there. And they spent orders of magnitude more effort creating it than re balancing it for M+ and higher raids. You just don’t want to run that content or do end game content.
You just want the rewards from the harder content without doing it. Say you get your wish. Then what do people get for doing the harder content? Nothing?
I haven’t heard anyone say that, and I’m tired of hearing that same disingenuous summary of the request for solo rewards.
We do not want your idiotic raider rewards. We don’t raid.
We want our own rewards that come from the open world and are designed to turn the open world into a full end-game progression arc, so we can gear up and collect a wider variety of things that could last us the entire tail-end of an expansion. We want an alternate gearing path where raiders get their tier set and we get a separate set of gear with adventuring QOL passives built in - like out-of-combat regen, extended food buff duration outside of instances, unbreakable attributes on the outdoor set so we never have to repair it (similar to heirlooms) and maybe even boots or something that teleport us to a questing hub.
You know. Thoughtful game design with us in mind?
That is what we’re asking for.
Keep your raider rewards. I wouldn’t take them for free because I don’t want anyone mistaking me for a raider.
It’s there. And they spend an overwhelming amount of time creating it. But you completed it two years ago shortly after the expansion launched. You probably did it and progressed up to the point where the open world content gave you higher iLvl rewards. And guess what, as the tiers progress the open world rewards progress as well. So that progression is there as well.
Single player content just doesn’t have good replay value. It’s very expensive to make and there is no way to make it fast enough since there’s no replay value to keep people engaged.
They think by denying you content/rewards that they can force you into the group oriented content because they are betting that you will move into the content they prefer you play in before you will quit playing
I have a long todo list of things that don’t require more gear, it’s just that Shadowlands has really burnt me out and I haven’t been able to muster a lot of enthusiasm these past few months.
Honestly, it’s an MMO but it is now a conforming MMO rather than a RPG. You’re either going to conform to their rules or don’t play (according to there now principles ).
So there is no rpg anymore and have become slaves to raiders demands.
