I’m very sad right now and don’t have anybody to reach out to just to vent as I’m a loner. My poor yorkie is in renal failure right now and I’m just hoping she pulls through, not likely though.
Just broken hearted looking for positive vibes right now. Had to leave her at doctors so am just waiting to hear back. Might not hear anything till tomorrow.

I’m really sorry to see that your pup is sick.
And you’re right. My dogs are family and it sucks seeing them in pain.
Fur babies are our family. I stayed up all night with my cat when he had urinary tract issues. I even turned on some soothing sleep music for him so he could try to relax and rest while I stayed beside him.
Your puppy is in my thoughts and I send you virtual hugs.

Incredibly sorry that you’ve come to this final chapter with your doggo. There’s no easy way to say goodbye to any soul we love. The tears we shed are a testament to how much joy they bring, and there’s a lot of tears because there is so much joy.
I hope her transition goes quickly and without pain. I hope your heart heals as you laugh about her goofy antics. We are keepers of furry chaos. The hidden secret of the universe is that it is all glued together with pet fur and dog slobber. Physicists just haven’t figured it out yet. They’ll get there some day.

George Carlin said pets are little disasters waiting to happen. We still let them latch onto our hearts and since we only have each other in this cold universe, it’s so much better that you gave them love and companionship during their time here. We do all we can and it feels like it’s never enough. Maybe it’s no comfort at all but know that we all feel your pain and love.
Whether that is true or not - the fact that a human can bond with and connect so closely to creatures so unlike them is really truly a beautiful thing.
@OP: Wishing for the best for your pet. Renal failure sucks, and sadly it’s one of the more painful ways to leave this world - but it’s also a sign that you’ve taken good care of them too, and gotten them past a lot of other things that could have killed them, instead.
