pets are family i dont even call my dog a pet, i just say my pup lol

I’m sorry to hear about your pup. It’s always sad to lose a family pet. Without knowing the specifics of your dogs case, all I can say is unless caught early and treated aggressively, renal/kidney failure is almost always fatal. Many hugs and well wishes for you and your family.

Shes only 9 
…young for a yorkie…
I got to bring her home this morning. Unfortunately, the test came back and she’s at end stage renal failure still…So idk if ill have her for a day, a week, i dont know. She’s just sleeping right now. That’s all shes cared to do since she got in the door…I figured she had a tough time at the drs and just needs some rest. Maybe she will perk up a lil later for something to eat…
The hardest part that im trying to figure out is when is it time to take her to the vet? when can i tell shes actually suffering and in pain and I should take her to the vet to put her down?
So many questions…
Man I hope she just passes peacefully in her sleep at home…This is rough.

Dogs don’t express pain the way humans do. I’m very very sorry this is happening to your pup.
I really don’t mean to sound harsh, but I’m honestly surprised your vet didn’t recommend euthanasia. End stage renal/kidney failure is very painful and can take weeks (of toxins building up in their body, unable to be filtered) to claim the animal.
We of course want to spend as much time with our beloved pets as we can but sometimes the best thing for them is to let them go.
Yeah. I had a cat pass away from this a few months back. It was hard. Euthanasia isn’t a choice that anyone really wants to make, but sometimes it is simply best for the pet in question. I too am wondering if the vet considered it. My vet certainly would have, but they always get straight to the point.

If she transitions, go look for her in the Shadowlands.
Things are fixed there, so she shouldn’t end up in the Maw.
this is kinda corny but i thought about when she passes making a new char like a priest or something and just leveling in the ardenweald zone. Doing all the quests, as much as I can of the achieves etc…Kinda reminds me of rainbow bridge with the colors.
But anyways shes still alive so no need for those theatrics just yet. shes not eating but shes drinking water and awake. still pretty lethargic. Im just going to enjoy the time I have with her while shes here…
