I remember when people in the olden days of WoW used to ask âwhy can Undead Priests use holy magic?â and the lore people would give good answers like how using the holy light actually hurts Undead and causes them great anguish. And they start feeling the maggots in their skin and such. Or how holy light healing a Death Knight actually hurts them. And so on. Oh the good old days.
And I will advocate for whatever interests you do have, that donât harm the happiness of others.
I mean, i would love to heal my blood dk tank to death. Maybe there should just a lore on off switch somewhere.

I hope you can accept blizzards decision to not allow dracthyr to not be in visage. despite it not being what you want. And I hope as a result now that we have an official answer we can stop getting threads and necroâs from the same people.
I hope things change. As they do. As they have done and will most likely do so. And I hope people never stop making their wishes known. There is value even in these pissing contests. Although proper discourse would be preferably and more helpful, but letâs be real. We all know what we are getting by posting on these forums.

Because people are controlling. Not only do they want to play how they want to play, they also want YOU to play how they want to play.
Anyone demanding you play a certain way or making fun of how you enjoy things are selfish, shortsighted people.

nobody is saying that, we are saying find something you enjoy. But if that something ruins or cheapens what an evoker is you will have to enjoy something else. Thats like ordering a burger and being mad that it has a meat patty, when you knew it came with one when you ordered it. Instead maybe order something else.
And yet restaurants offer meat substitutions for those who prefer something different.
No one is advocating for taking away YOU being a dragon. If you want to be one, go do it and never go into visage form. We are asking for options for us. Order YOUR burger anyway you like it. Dont tell me how to eat mine.
Lastly, someone can like the Evoker class w/o thinking Blizzard did a good job on the Dracthyr animation or style. I love playing Pres Evoker. I really enjoy how the class plays. However, I just think the Dragon animation and look is meh.

but you didnât order that you ordered a regular meat patty (AKA evoker) Your options are hamburger (evoker), substitution (any other caster)
get over yourselves and stop attempting to cheapen our class because you canât accept after 2 years and a blizzard announcement this is what evoker is.
Thereâs nothing to accept. I dont enjoy the look of a class that I enjoy playing. Thatâs a person preference, not acceptance.
Are you mad that other Dracthyr classes will have the option to play as visage the whole time? Do you also think that weakens the lore of the Dracthyr?

Unfortunately this is not a buffet you do not get to pick and choose what you eat or play in this case. You can choose to accept it or play something else. it is what it is at that point.

Ok, so youâre arguing from the stance that Evoker & Dracthyr are the same thing. When they, clearly, no longer are. So youâre arguing from a flawed mindset. So there isnt any point of discussing this further.
