I’m 100% convinced the outcry for perma visage is primarily coming from Aug players. While a subjective observation, only reinforces my hatred for a spec ruining Evoker as a whole in yet another way.

This is exactly why I actually wish Blizzard would either outright delete support specs and rework Augmentation, or preferably add more support DPS to the game already. Or at the very least announce more are coming so we can stop getting so up in arms about Aug all the time so pointedly.

I’d be interested in a Priest support spec tbh for example.

Aug isn’t even that mandatory, it’s good but wildly overrated

Oh no doubt.

But its not a tank spec, so I hate it. Plus, really don’t want more of that playstyle in the game

fwiw 4 specs would be better but, well… Realistically I wish that’s what we got instead of the inevitable race to the bottom that will come now that they caved and added a few classes other than evo.

It’s not really overrated as it’s incredibly strong.

It’s misunderstood where that strength actually kicks in, and most people don’t realize that it’s in mythic raid and 15+ keys.

Really it’s the same thing. It only gets as powerful as it’s claimed to be with top 0.01% players, so outside of an incredibly narrow niche it’s overrated

That number was accurate last expansion; it’s significantly better in more content now that the personal/install damage is better.

It loses a little power at the bleeding edge because a good chunk of the group survivability has been nerfed, but it outperforms dev in most content currently.

I primarily play devastation, I love how the class plays hate how the dragon looks, I want to be able to see the mogs I earned in game while fighting not dragon. I also agree with people who want more barber shop options for the dracthyr, I don’t think we have gotten any new options since release which makes no sense, don’t understand why we can’t have both.

dont worry blizzard will give in. nobody makes the wrong decision and doubles down before giving in like blizzard does. theres a reason its the least popular class/race and with new classes coming to it the racials would be the only reason anyone would want to use it.all you see is more and more pages and comments of people who want something to be done and then you minority defending a bad decision because i guess there will always be people with bad taste to defend it

if agreeing to this gets you people to stop defending this bad decision than sure ill start arguing for that to. idc i like the feral/bear forms but if people want to fight in their humanoid form let em as it doesnt effect me so i couldnt care less. their fun doesnt cancel my fun out. its just a different fun

then you hate the class and the only reason you like it is because its a poorly designed lizard

it wouldnt though because you people could still have your lizard form and anyone who wants to play the class but doesnt like the race can play the class and everyones happy.

the answer is no because unlike the dracthyr these forms dont look bad. the original night elf cat form looked bad compared to the original horde form and i do remember people complaining but we have come along way from there and now have options…options which evokers dont have so its not the same argument

Roll something else. There’s plenty of other spell-casting classes to choose from. Maybe you’ll learn to love to play a different class.

Except it would, because it would make the draconic form optional instead of a requirement, and would force Blizzard to create a different set of animations for non-Dracthyr Evokers. It would also contradict the class’ purpose and lore, weakening the class’ concept and flavor overall.

It’s simple; If you don’t want to be a dracthyr, don’t roll an Evoker. I detest elves, so I don’t play a Demon Hunter. Simple.

not the same. the same would be if you love demon hunters. only then would you be making the same argument. the dracthyrs existence offends me and i hate it but im not such a selfish person that i want all or nothing. i just want to be able to play the class that i like on ANYTHING else or looking like ANYTHING else. you people who like this we have mcdonalds at home dragon can keep playing it for all i care cause im not trying to take that from you guys. they dont even need to do different sets of animations just pop into mcdonalds at home dragon for breath attacks and then pop back and use the animations we already have when using toys. if blizzard is going to be lazy then at least go all in on the lazy rather than a half attempt at it

If I hate elves why would I love Demon Hunters, an elven class?

The same applies here; If you hate Dracthyrs, then you don’t like the Dracthyr class and should go somewhere else.

the same doesnt apply here though. i like the evoker class but hate the mcdonalds at home lizard. you people against this are all or nothing

Uh a core part of the class is “the mcdonalds at home lizard”. Again, if you don’t like that, then you don’t like the class. No amount of whining on the official forums is going to change that.

I have tried multiple classes I actually started playing the game in DF with dev none of the other casting classes feel as fun to play as dev imo I just hate how it looks while I’m in combat. I’d rather look like a murloc floating through the air as goofy as that looks, if the toys didn’t have a ridiculous CD on when they can be used again I would never be in dracthyr form lol. Also wanna add on that I don’t care how the animations look, they don’t gotta change at all if you choose to stay in your visage form, sure flying around without wings would look goofy but ultimately it doesn’t matter plus even Blizzard is making it so the knockback and knockup on the other classes doesn’t take you out of visage form despite them technically using their tail and wings to perform this action so like obviously they can have work-arounds to make it make sense we are just picking and choosing what does and doesn’t make sense at this point to fit the narrative that evokers HAVE to be in their dragon form.

like most people who play this class. those people who like it cant seem to understand this

I doubt they will, time will tell

Sure go make a post and argue this fanatically over there and I would gladly watch the fireworks

Considering I main the class this tier and it has been an alt for awhile I would disagree. This isn’t a sound argument, if I don’t enjoy the way somebody else plays the class why would I keep them in my key?

Opinion statement! Do not care.

It’s the same
