We want Realm Locked Random Dungeon Finder, not chat-locked Looking for Group.

Or how come no one complained about when they put flying mounts in I mean are those same people there against LFD Shirley would be against those systems too ?
Why is LFD any different from those Those 2 systems go against exactly what that type of player would be Against so how come theyâre not saying things like take out duel speck Or make it so fly amounts donât work said the world is more alive.
The same arguments you can apply to LFD apply just as much to those systems Am I wrong?
They like the convenience, but LFD has been raised as a boogeyman for years. I do wonder how often some of these people play the game right now if theyâre opposed to LFD. I was opposed to LFD until after a few years of dealing with LFG.

Because people are not upset about dual spec being in the game. It was an expected outcome. People were complaining when they were discussing possible additional restrictions on it and that got clarified as no bonus restrictions. And the complaints stopped on that topic.
Wotlk had dual spec in it for about 80% of the game. Its something everyone was expecting in the game. Not everyone wanted or exoected rdf in the game. Many did assume it would be there. But not all wanted it.

But still the argument still stands By your logic if people are upset about something theyâre going to post about it right And the reality is thereâs a lot more people posting for LFD in the game.
Then there are against And your argument against that well because The people that donât want or the majority of people that donât want LFD Arenât going to bother Because they donât feel the need to that doesnât make sense.
But theyâre completely fined with dual spack And flying mounts because it was supposed to be in the game that same arguments applies to lfd.

Because there is a huge difference between the 2 5 Random people versus 25 random people yeah That end when it came out Probably wasnât the best time especially when we talk about the legendary daggers for rogues.

Its not just the concept of convenience though. Its what does that convenience cost.
For dual spec the cost is how it changes the raiding scene and min max options.
Rdf does other things due to the cross realm aspect (there is a reason randoms in pvp battle grounds were more toxic on average before rdf was added), the teleport (which shares some issues that flying added, but goes 1 step above by having 0 chance of interactions instead of a reduced chance that flying caused) and then the bonus rewards that effectively make using rdf mandatory in wotlk because of how the emblem teirs are set up and how the daily reward can add up to 2+ bonus peices current raid tier of gear through the lifespan of a phase.
If you want a rdf that has no cross realm, no teleport, and no bonus rewards so it is purely an auto grouping tool, i would support that. But there are damaging aspects to wotlk rdf i dont want to see in the game.
It also changes the trajectory class design decisions took subsequent to its implementation. But what weâre dealing with is a re-release of an old game.
I think the goal should rightly be to recapture the essence of what that game was.
I didnât know they were trying to add LFD in. Arenât they still against LFD? Also since I do want LFD what does that mean? I should uninstall classic? I am an outcast? What? You seem to be making a bold statement here that I am an undesirable player just on my preference on a game feature.

Yes, but that was a design goal intention behind wotlk to begin with. They intentionally made every class vetter at everything they were designed to do in terms of the holy trinity of tank healer dps. All tanks got better survivability, aggro for sibgle target, and aoe (for where they were lacking, making tanks mych closer to eachother) and similarly for dps and healers, classes that had bad single target got better at it, classes that had bad aoe got better at it.
The origional post is a little misleading in terms of lfd being used when (to my understanding) he meant rdf.

I know what the op meant. All anyone is complaining about on these forums is the automated dungeon finder. Besides if it is the premade group finder there is one already in TBC classic so a bit late to be unhappy about that being added to classic, even as bad as that group finder is.
And people use both RDF and LFD for the automated group finder.

Actually the TBC dogâs breakfast doesnât require you to use it to be in LFG. The new tool will require you to list in it to be in the chat.
So weâve got the worst of both worlds, with forced usage of a horrible tool, and no automated matching.
If theyâre not going to provide Random Dungeon Finder, it would be better to not even provide an LFG tool, so people can continue what theyâre doing now.
I mean, win or lose⊠People are going to be able to find groups easily enough. Itâs just a matter of whether that happens just because you click a button or⊠idk.

It is just a game feature. I would rather dance over something that makes me happy. Seriously what is peopleâs obsession with this feature and deciding peopleâs worth over if you for or against it. I am starting to get sick of it.
