Despite this game having been out for 17 years, it’s absolutely appalling that Blizzard can’t get a single launch right for this game. How many botched launches has this been already? I took my entire day off to be here for TBC launch right when the servers opened and if this keeps up my entire day will be wasted on waiting. You can do better Blizzard, after all these years of experiencing launches, you SHOULD do better. We deserve gametime compensation for this gross negligence.

Well I remember getting a day of gametime each time this happened in original TBC. And it happened a lot in original TBC…and it happened for a lot longer.

TBC came out in 2007… it is not 2024 quite yet…

I Agree that blizzard are always doing crap… I dont agree with people always backing up Blizzard like little groupies. Blizard will never give you intended “promises”. Blizzard did really bad with a lot of things ( Warcraft 3 reforged rofl big exemple). Blizzard dont deserve our money and are always finding a way to get more (like a cloning system for a 14 years old expansion - i would better pay for the expansion like back in the day and be able to play on Azeroth / TBC back and forth for FREE but only for 1/4 price of a 14 years old expansion… think about it)

I dont care about you blizzard groupies that will always protecting your golden Blizzard.

But here you are… paying for a sub and with a level 60 priest putting lots of time in on one of their products. A company that put out WOW, Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, and set the standard for MMO’s to date… hilarious… you people crack me up.

Every week I find a new reason to look forward to Riot’s MMO. IDGAF if it sucks, I just want blizzard to actually have competition so they stop sucking.

Just less than fourteen and a half years ago, they did not have snapshotting of characters, or cloning meant to communicate between two different versions of the game, or a vanilla store, or or or…

Relax, it’ll come. If they deem it worth some compensated time, we’ll get it. If not, no big deal. If you took off time for this, well, that’s 100% on you.

it’s totally on them to be prepared to handle the oncoming players and not needlessly delay the game due to their own incompetence. they’ve had classic launch to realize how hard their servers are going to be hit and should have prepared accordingly

It’s literally not even TBC. It is a pre patch, it’s not a “launch”.
Also, we knew it was going to be afternoon at a minimum before servers were going to be up, so taking a day off work for these 2 things combined is pretty questionable.

updated to 10pm pdt, so you better just give up and go play something else today, lol. I’ve experienced every expansion, so this doesn’t shock me at all. I knew this was coming
