Thanks to whoever reported this for ruining arguably the most fun i’ve had on WoW classic outside of raiding since launch.
Fully agree with this post. I was having SO much fun with prepatch until this toxic nerf bat came in to kill honor to 1/10 what it originally was.

With all due respect I must implore that you either fully or partially revert this change.
In original TBC prepatch we had 5-6 weeks to gear up, most of us were still teenagers with all of the time in the world and not a worry to bother us.
But now most of us have jobs, families and so forth that cut DEEPLY into our time. And on top of that our time has been cut by weeks! You’ve taken what was a 5-6 week prepatch event and cut it down to only 2 weeks, and then further cut it down by a day due to issues!
So now we’ve got just 13 days to grind honor, days where we spend a lot of time on responsibilities and jobs we did not have back in original prepatch for TBC. Compared to the previous prepatch for original TBC where we had 35 days with most of us having little to no responsibilities to farm honor.
No offense Kaivax but this is a joke. The honor we earned prior made up for the lack of time we have both in real life and by your own decisions. If you and the rest of Blizzard are serious about “wanting to help those with less time” like you say you do then you would revert this fix immediately.
As of right now, untill this is addressed along with the bug kicking people out of battlegrounds, I will refuse to do BGs period. Just not worth my time. And if this goes ignored…
Well I think it might actually be time for me to say goodbye. Because as of right now due to the rush yall are pushing out a beta and I am not here to pay for a game that has so many bugs and hotfixes where the literal hotfixes break the game just as bad as the bugs.

thats more like 320 honor now actually, but yeah, not getting the sole purpose of the bg is a big issue for them to not have acknowledged yet.
25 years to life behind bars with no possibility of parole is what all blizzard employees deserve.

100% agree. Pretty sure im done with this dogsh!t company, activision ruined blizzard and I hope more people stop buying this dogsh!t. As much as I want to be (and have been) a blizzard dog this is actually horrendous. We need to stop buying their sh!t, they’ve become complacent with mediocre.

I agree with this guy, and supplement asking Kaivax to investigate this Andy guy.
It’s not very fair for OP to farm 75,000 honor and only choose to report a “bug” after abusing it himself, to troll others.

This exactly !!! We have months less for prepatch so an increase in honor to benefit makes sense.

Person1: Battlegrounds are crashing and forcibly kicking people from games.
Person2: sapphiron’s aura is bugged and is now an unkillable boss
Person3: There are servers with 2 hour queues!
Person4: This one guy on forums thinks people are getting too much honor in bgs. People are enjoying it.

Bought shoulders, was wanting to buy the shield, and then continue doing two weeks of BGs. Having fun catching up on my fresh paladin since I missed out on doing anything on Classic other than hit 60.
10x less honor? That’s… Uh… I think I’ll pass on that and just wait for BC to come out, I guess. Play something else in the meantime.

Cool, now try queue as Horde and wait 20-30 minutes for a BG to only come out with either 40 honor after a AV loss or 180-200 honor from an AV win.
If Horde are to get R14 weapons (40k honor usually) and if they lose every AV match for example, it’ll take us a little under 1000 AV games to get a single weapon. (not including HK rewards)
^ Obviously worse case scenarios, but you get the picture.
The time input of waiting for a queue, to get a poor honor output, simply is way too much time and effort

Why change it? This was FUN…people were actually doing BGs and playing the game. Now no one is going to play and the game is going to go back to being dead…the gear gets replaced anyway before level 70 so who even cares???

Revert this. It was actually fun que’ing battlegrounds. Plus anyone who got honor capped will be miles ahead if honor isn’t swept on TBC launch
