No. They can’t stop. They have no new ideas, and making stuff really rare or planned fomo is free content to them, because the people they are manipulating will farm endlessly to get all the things.
I got the dragonriding customization token 3 times on a total of 4 characters I ran once daily, even though, as a level 60 account, I had not bought the expansion. Didn’t see the pet drop once.

One of the main pet battle content creators for the game quit because she didn’t get Arfus.
She made probably 70-75% of the “best” strategies for pet battle tamers for the past few expansions.
She even said it wouldn’t have been so bad if Arfus wasn’t made so good in battle.

I’m getting seriously tired of low droprate stuff. There is zero reason these things for holidays shouldn’t be on the vendors for large amounts of holiday currency.

I was lucky enough to get Arfus, but I’ve been playing since the beta and I do not have the Headless Horseman mount yet. I also didn’t get the dragon saddle, but I did get the Brewfest one on the very last day of that event. I should note I “only” run these 5 times a day and I know others do it way more.

Strange reason to quit but ok. It’s not like Arfus won’t come back.
So I got the Pepe toy on the first box today and based on Wowhead comments, a lot of people are. Let’s not jump to conclusions eh?
Not to mention it’s OK to have rare things in the game. Not everyone has to have everything.

Yes, because if you miss out on a limited-time drop you can legitimately not get in the event timer you have to wait a whole year before ‘‘trying’’ again.
rare drops make sense on raid bosses we can farm weekly on, not for event items.

I don’t particularly enjoy it when I’m on my 5th attempt of the day. I get why they make things rare though, it keeps us coming back. I don’t like it though, and it kind of causes me to hate myself for doing it again. This seasonal event would be better if they made it easier to get to the Grinch. That’s really the worse thing about this seasonal .
