We absolutely need Dual Spec now, since any expansion will be much shorter than original Vanilla ones, so we can enjoy it for longer time, that should be reason enough to get it now.
We have less players in game also, it means less tanks and heals.
Ppl that are against it, they just complain cause its time to do it again. It put no1 in disadvantage, so there should be no argument about it.
Its not a part of original TBC… ROFL, nothing its part of that anymore, including $$$ shop.
Have a healer Priest, in dungins its fine, after that I have time for 1-2 quests. Do I have to respec for that? If at least trainer would be in Shattrat, but doing all that travel just tells me not to bother.
I am sure there is so many ppl that would use it, even man-child haters of any change, would use it…
Its time to add it now, for benefit for all of us. And its harmless to all.
So if blizzard damaged the TBC experience, you want them to ruin it even more?
It also means less DPS, this argument makes no sense. More populated realms are available for if you think your server is too lowly populated.
Ah yes, so the old world can be even more dead. There’s a reason there is no class trainers and no auction house in Shatt, otherwise nobody would ever go to the capital cities again. This was the devs intended design decision.
I’m sure they will be people that would use the Race changes, Faction Changes, and the WoW token if it was in the game.
Dual Spec was added in Wrath, not TBC. You’ll have to wait till wrath for Dual Spec, or you can play retail if this is a dealbreaker for you.
U see it as damaged, ok, lets do some more dmg where it matters.
You cant understand through your hate… Tanks and heals can spec into DPS as well, right? Ergo, helping low pop servers immediately.
Yea, I get that, but again, why give a s/hit about old cities? U can learn professions to max w/o spending time in those old cities. So, we travel to bank/learn there is a low point to argue.
All these other changes are wanted my small # of ppl, prolly 5-10%, Dual Spec is more than 50-70% for sure. Thats what makes huge diff in this.
LOL, dont be naive (token part), its all Blizz planted=making a sale pitch ideas. They are to make $$$ and more $$$ for shareholders, cause if they dont, they replace ppl that will make it happen. Devs dont make changes, they make recommendations for the most part @best, they are told to make the change, after some1 else decide.
I have levelled with and seen resto shams, holy pallys and holy priests go lvl 60-70 without problem.
You knowingly rolled a priest and spec’d into heals, and complain that it’s more difficult to quest than a DPS class/spec. What did you expect, truly?
Besides putting words in my mouth that I never said or alluded to, Why would I hate something that isn’t even in the game?
You’re playing a recreation of 2007 game where the devs did care about old cities, don’t like it, play a different game.
Random statistics with no basis or evidence. I bet the people who would cash in wow tokens for sub time, or buy them to buy epic flying, mage boosts, boe epics, raid consumes would be as high as % of people who would use dual spec.
I could say “the shareholders make a sales pitch in which the devs provide the suggestions before the final decision is made” but that wouldn’t roll of the tongue very well, so I used “devs” for short.
Devs, company, shareholders, call it whatever you will. Blizzard decided to keep trainers/AH in old cities to keep them alive.
Bingo. Played retail twice in MOP/WOD. first as DPS then as tank, dungeon q’s as DPS were 10x longer, tank queues were pretty much instant
I agree, normally my warrior would be prot spec. However my guild needs me to be dps specced and I’m too cheap and lazy to have to go manually respec in stormwind every time I want to do something different. I really like tanking tho.
Healers got a bunch of SP to make questing / leveling solo easier.
Tanks will always be in demand for dungeons because people naturally have more DPS characters than tanks. Very few are tanking with every class while most people have alts that are dungeon ready for DPS.
It’s pretty wild how people are having the same train of thought that progressed to retail.
Retail has dual spec. Retail also has a shortage of tanks, as I’ve heard.
The assumption that those who can will automatically chose a tanking or healing spec is very flawed and not supported in any version of WoW that included dual spec mechanics. I’d be will to bet more people would dual to a pvp spec then would a second PVE spec.
And no, we don’t need dual spec. We didn’t have it in the original TBC and guess what? We still were able to complete all the content. Want =/= need.
A resto druid can level just fine. Use spells as it’s running at you, rejuv yourself as it gets to you and keep casting damage spells, OR if low mana go kitty and dps that way.
The damage is lower but a lot less downtime if fighting one mob at a time because druids can use very little mana when killing something.
Priests have their wand, shamans have their weapon enchants and totems, and paladins have their seals. Healers can level just fine. Killing is slower but the risk of death is lower and when done right, downtime is also much lower.
Don’t forget healer gear also has 33% spell damage.
