Some are still taking risks, sadly. With this wave of bans it’s a lot less now! thankfully

I think this ban wave was for classic not retail, though I could be wrong.
Yeah the PVP bots and scripts are always there. I miss the old kickbot that you could juke by casting hearthstone before they made it so you can’t in arenas. Hell you could juke baddies with hearthstones as well, it was glorious.
Classic has dozens of servers, retail has hundreds. 50 people in one house seems like a hell of a lot more than 50 people spread out in a mall.

I am rolling my eyes at thinking this was all thanks to him.
We need new tools to report bot behavior, ESPECIALLY when they are now camping out in instanced areas making them harder to report.
I’ve been playing both Retail BfA and Classic since they’ve been released. In looking at player retention trends, IMO BfA seems to have lost 90% of it’s player base, while in Classic it doesn’t seem to have much of a decline at all.
Besides, you’re missing the point. My post to Startastic was to show that the band sure didn’t seem to have an impact on Classic like he was trying to portray.

Which proves my point with what you said. Retail with hundreds of servers and huge decline in players is why most servers are ghost towns currently. Classic with fewer servers even with a decline still feels very populated.
His nominal efforts that had little to no impact, sure. Far from doing it all himself, as you originally stated.
I still think it was a bad idea to change the AH, IT WAS NOT NECESSARY, IT WAS OK AS IT WAS BEFORE.

He must’ve done something to you if you can’t even give the guy credit for doing something that benefited the community.
Whatever man. You can give him all the credit you want. I see nothing he did that actually had any worthwhile effect.

That is about a third of the active players for classic. I am guessing most of those people were from private servers and will just go back to them.
That was for classic I believe but I know they banned/suspensed some botters in retail within the last month or so because I was watching a group in azsuna daily and they must have been caught because they disappeared.
