How could you possibly not test the fact that characters are not receiving the new currency if they haven’t logged into other characters that have the rank 3s that the first character you logged into needed.

Blizurd already demonstrated that they couldn’t count as high as three back in WoD when they put up the first Kirin Tor daily emissary with only two Kirin Tor quests on the map.
They should have just made it account bound but nope couldnt do that.

If only they could have just made them account wide instead of holding onto their believe that each character that YOU play should have its own power progression at the end of an expansion

Look at it this way, it’s a mistake you will only make once.
I feel like we had a similar issue in the past.
Not sure if it was achievements or something else - but something similar has definitely happened before.
Honestly should have been an option to have you get the echoes on your main (the determinant for if you can get rank 3 essences), and then buy a BoA random token to send to alts. They had a random class token in 7.3.2/7.3.5.

Who doesn’t login to their main first on tuesdays, after reset? I always get on my main first. You guys are just weird.

Why would you get on your main first? A lot of mains don’t need a lot of the world content, and especially not the new currency in most cases since your main is the one that has the rank 3’s so you would log onto your alts to get going with the new currency?
My character with most of my rank 3s I havent played in a while. I’ve been focusing on another character and don’t even think about other characters. I’m going to log into first the character I’m actually currently focusing on.
I cleared a 15. I earned those 300 echoes.
