What a relief to see that I’m not the only one who found this claim hard to swallow. Thanks for the support, everyone!
Clearly you don’t spend time with us goblins. These are all goblin design.
Nah, you just don’t know that goblins and gnomes have been steeling and working together since the get go. Things start to look the same and start to look different at times.
Compare deep run tram and the tram like rail system to the goblin train in WoD. That was a beefy and dangerous sucker. All goblin made.
They’re far too reliable for either. It’s probably dwarves.
Yes, I can imagine some drunken Dwarf mechanics/engineers building the Space Shuttle.
Someone ignored the questlines in BFA where a goblin and gnome work together and create a business together, didnt they?
Even had us help fake the goblin’s death to get the cartels off his back.
Then they got full help from Mekkatorque.
I’ve noticed small races in general always look objectively superior on any mount compared to a large race (anything human or larger).
With a name like Rockwell, maybe it was built by an Earthen?
The front headlight and tapered end is somewhat reminiscent of a mechanostrider’s face. The duck bill of the normal strider and the single headlamp of the elite strider.
I smell technological espionage.
We have a saying for this
Your patent; your invention.
And you best not ask why all of the most acclaimed inventors in Goblin society owned the patent office.
They are most certainly not of Gnomish make… had a Gnome designed them they would have exposed gears, and adequate safety measures to ensure no riders could possibly fall off while in transit… also, we’re not crazy enough to think a rocket propelled blast door is a brilliant invention or a logical mode of transportation, you’d have to be some addlebrained nutcase to make one of those… which describes Goblins to a T.
That said… some of the parts used in the construction do appear as though they may have been stolen from a Gnomish supply warehouse.
There is the difference between gnome tech and goblin tech.
Gnome tech is sc-fi mechanical looking.
Goblin tech is pieces of junk put together they found in a junkyard.
Gnomish tech is steampunk
Goblin tech is dieselpunk
More accurately Gnomish Tech is Clockpunk… Dwarven Tech is more inline with traditional Steampunk…
You’re right
If it has unnecessary rockets and/or explosives, its goblin tech.
Rocket on horse? Goblin tech.
Bomb attached to rocket? Goblin tech.
Bomb attached to donkey? Goblin tech.
Explosive self massager? Goblin tech. +1 if powered by a rocket.
You mean technological improvement.
Similar smell.
It’s that married couple I mentioned a while ago. The wife is a pink-haired Gnome. Her husband was in stealth when you did the quests that required you to wreck havoc amongst other Goblins.
Yeah they all look gnomish tbh. Which is cool, I like gnomish things, but it is weird they didn’t make them goblin engineering themed. The differences are pretty clear to see for anyone who takes the time to notice.
