So I wanna know where my free WW mount equipment is on my new char i’ve just made… I have the mount and I’ve gotten it on every other toon… so why not this new one??
OK i did some checking on my characters.
new character did not get the mail.
level 43 character did not have the mail.
level 110 had the mail.
horde character did not have mail.
you do know you can go buy one and send it to the new alt.

I have the mount… why the hell should I have to go buy one???
Mount equipment won’t unlock until level 20, but I’m not sure it will mail then. The option is there in case you don’t get it, but I believe it is discounted.

Nat Pagel sells an item that’s account bound for like 40-50gold. You just have to buy it on the character with the Angler’s rep and you can then mail it off to your alt.

It only automatically gets mailed to characters that are at least level 100 (i think). New characters would not get it automatically.

This is correct. Any character (new or old) under level 100 does not get the water shoes automatically. Nat Pagle in Krasarang sells them BOA for 40g if you’re exalted with him (which you would be if you have the Azure Water Strider, at least).

now see… here is the issue… I went done the quests etc that were required in order to have the mount which I can use from lvl 20 upwards… so why the hell should I have to go buy some token simply cause Blizz decided in their infinite wisdom to shaft everyone that has the mount after how ever long it has been… it’s BS is what it is… serious BS… I’ve been playing this game since like Jan 05… so to have to go buy something I have worked for originally is simply wrong…

Feedback on this belongs in General Discussion. The Devs don’t take feedback from Customer Support and the SFAs here are not liaisons with them.
So what? It doesn’t give you any special privileges. You’re just the same as any other player.
This change was announced months ago, when 8.2 went on the PTR. It was widely discussed. It didn’t change when 8.2 was released. Again, feedback belongs in General Discussion.

I know what was announced and when, what I am getting at is the fact it was said that if you had the mount you’d receive a token… I don’t recall there actually being a lvl requirement attached to it… and the mentioning of how long I been in this game is to show how much blizz actually cares which is obvious… they don’t… as to eating your cookie, you can shove that where the sun don’t shine… I am posting this here in Customer Support because i am a paying Customer and have been for a very long time and I want some support which I think I am entitled to, is really quite simple. I can see tho that they really don’t give a toss and the only people who are responding here are those that really shouldn’t… I could say more but I’d probably cop a ban…
I understand you’ve been playing since 2005, and have seen the game go through countless changes.
As you feel strongly about this issue, you may wish to consider placing a suggestion, along with an explanation about the problem you feel your suggestion will solve. Don’t forget to explore the possible drawbacks and explain how the suggestion will result in a positive overall result.
I’d really skip on the “I earned it” angle though. Stick to benefits that affect the playerbase as a whole, now and in the future. Blizzard is much more likely to action something with broad, positive effects.

You’ve received support though. You got information on how the new water-walking works now. Not liking the answer doesn’t make it incorrect.
This forum isn’t the “I’m a customer so support me” forum. It’s for players to help other players and is moderated by the Support Forum Agents (blues).
But no, you’re not “entitled” to anything more than any other player. If you feel something should be changed, you’ll want to use an appropriate forum like the General forums or you can use the in-game suggestion feature.

You’re posting on a public discussion forum Feloni, where others are able to and encouraged to respond. In fact, this very forum section was created so that players could find assistance from within the player community. If you would prefer a private conversation with a Game Master, then you will want to submit a ticket through our support website.
That being said, a private conversation will not result in you being provided what you’re requesting. As others here have already pointed out, the game is currently functioning as intended and the Game Masters will not be able to alter that.
If you wish to provide feedback or suggestions for the game, there are a couple of ways that you can submit that to the development team - such as using the in-game suggestion form or posting in General Discussion. The Customer Support forum is not an appropriate category for game suggestions.

not one person here that has responded has in anyway had any idea to what the actual issue is… to say that the game is functioning as intended is wrong when the fact is we were told that if we had a water strider mount that we would receive the token for it… I have the mount… ok… quite simple… I have the mount… where is my token?.. but I guess i’ll take this to the too hard to understand area and flush it… Thanks for all the help…
The issue is that you don’t like how they implemented the water-walking for those who already had the strider. You don’t like that your newly created character isn’t automatically granted the item for water-walking.
I linked it above. You have to buy it. Unlike for those of us who did not grind out anglers’ rep, you get to buy it for 40gold. If I want water-walking, it’s going for tens of thousands of gold on my server and I’d have to do that per-character.
