Water Strider

Who is getting water-walking in 8.2 for free?

Do you realize how immature this sounds?

Ohh, I get the first hit for free, that’s it. You do realize that I will still have to pay for any other equipment I want to try out.

So you get your participation trophy and you’re still mad. gg

Oh yeah…Im absolutely finished farming for anything in WoW at this point.
And its not because of equipment. I dont care if other players get WWing on all their mounts regardless of how asinine it sounds for a 3000 pound yak to be walking on water over a bug that was born to do it.

What Im irritated about is I did the work on two accounts for the strider AS IT WAS ADVERTISED…so that all my characters could, at level 20, have ‘free’ water walking using the strider.

Its hysterical that we are told 'just play the game and you get pathfinder"…and so I DID do the work for WWing…only to be told that now ALL 50+ characters I have BELOW level 100 ALL have to PAY for something I EARNED TWICE AS ADVERTISED when I did the grinds.

Farming and doing little grinds for different things I thought were interesting was the ONLY thing keeping me playing WoW.
And now its just too flippin risky to waste the time because the second I get the work put in they can, at any second, decide to take away or alter whatever it was I put the time in for.

Finding out that they exempted the Sky Golem from equipment…meaning they COULD have done the same with the Strider is the last straw.

Yeah…never again.

I do, I am only following your line of thinking. I’m impressed you can’t seem to perceive that.

and do you realize how entitled this sounds?
WE do the work and everyone else gets it for doing absolutely nothing.
My guess is pathfinder sorts would be screaming from the rooftops if they put in the work and then WE all got flying for doing nothing.

Well, in that case if you ever want to roleplay I’m down to chill with you since that’s all you’ll be doing from now on. Every aspect of the game involves a farm of some sort.

Imagine calling a video game work.

:face_with_raised_eyebrow:
uh…no it doesnt.
pet battles anyone?
running simple quests
Hitting old dungeons solo just to waste half an hour.
Theres tons of non- farming crap to do in the game.

Sounds like some intriguing content you have planned out for yourself.

imagine actually checking a definition before saying something silly.

work
/wərk/
noun
activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result.

given that I play to enjoy myself and not to impress anyone else, Im pretty sure theres enough non farming content in the game to keep me busy for a while.

This is what you call work while rep grinding for a mount? It involved mental effort to sit there and click on a fishing lure? Much physical effort was also done by pressing the mouse button while you’re watching netflix on the other screen.

lol

There is literally no sub-60 zone that requires water-walking. Not 1,000 needles (you get a boat within the first few quests), not Loch Modan (it’s mostly puddles and shallows now), not the Swamp of Sorrows (1 lake. go around it). Not anywhere.

It was a crutch, one that is now being rectified.

Why are you still here? GO Grind Transmogs so I can have them all for free in the next expac…shew little warrior go and grind. Remember I called dibs on the lazy spot, someone actually has to do the work.

Deflection also makes one look desperate and silly.
The definition is spot on.

Because you didn’t ask nicely.

Please

That had better be the case, as the last thing I want to have to be doing on patch day is sitting in Krasarang Wilds buying mount equipments one by one and mailing them to alts one by one.

I can’t even buy a stack of them and stick them in my guild bank. Blizzard’s basically doing everything they can to make restoring the Water Strider to even PARTIAL functionality a tedious experience.

And don’t worry, Sky Golem fans - you’ll be next. Count on it.
