Water Strider

ah…I see.
All stuff I wont be using anyway.
Oh lord…please tell me that they didnt change tank specs so they can be dismounted or something just to push their new gear crap on us…

I ran my warlock into kul tiran rogue pirates and got knocked out of my sky golem in 7-10 melee hits, false. it does not have anti-daze. I assume whoever said that had either:

  1. Tank spec on
  2. A shield from legion legendary necklace or azerite trait shield.
  3. the blacksmithing item buff to prevent being knocked off for a few hours.

I’m going to start afking lfr and demand I get 445 or w.e new the new ilvl gear is on forums.

There was a “bug” on PTR where people were getting dazed/dismounted when they had absorbs/shields on like Resounding Protection or a mage’s barrier spell.

Blizz claims, after being called on it, that it was a bug and would be fixed. I’d bet they’ll try sneaking it into live anyway.

Good to know, thanks for checking.

More than likely 1and 3.I did do that with my druid bear it doesn’t work.I can try it again and see.

That, the proof is in the pudding.I wouldn’t doubt they didn’t fix it.

They did fix it. Originally 8.2 [Demon Skin] and other absorbs provided zero protection from daze/dismount. (I was getting knocked off mounts on the first hit).

But it ‘seems’ back to normal now, with absorbs providing protection… but only as long as they last, and then the next hit will dismount you.

Also yeah, Sky Golem does not offer daze protection at all by itself.

Bet they try sneaking the no-daze shield bug into live anyway, then saying “oopsie” or saying nothing.

Could be wrong, I have before.

The water walking shoes are not usable in pvp content. This would be fine except for one battlefield literally has the Horde running up a hill why the alliance has to cross a wide river into a sewer pipe.
Will Blizzard add gravel at the bottom of this river to correct the faction balance problem?

It’s true,it’s not effected to dazing which never happen before.Good because i need some herbs right now

I wouldn’t doubt that they tamper with the chance of daze/dismount a little.

What they HAVE done is added flying mobs that will agro on you if you’re not paying attention, and created travel bottle-necks where there’s no going around trash mobs standing in water deep enough to slow you down. So unless you have no-daze AND water walking… getting through those will always be a pain.

Hah, um, sorry, I worded that badly above (edited now)

I meant: Golem = no “Daze protection”

not: Golem = no-daze protection.

Big difference.

The current strider isn’t usable in pvp content either, so why is this a problem of mount eq?

Only one problem with the Golem it can’t water walk it drops like a sinker to the bottom and can’t swim so getting across a pond would be a death sentence. But let me try ww potion.

Guardian druids have anti daze due to being a tank spec.

Yeah, but still can get interrupted and yes ww potion works with the Golem. I’ll try it on my other herbalist mage.

But at least it looks cool while swimming though. Elixir of WW should work fine with it.

If not hit…lol.

Is this the real issue people are having with the strider? You do know those who are chasing could have gotten a strider at any point, right?
