This is what people don’t understand.
If our water strider can not have 2 abilities then why should the Sky Golem. If they nerf the water strider they should also nerf the Sky golem.

Good idea! Remove the herbing speed and make a mounted herbing bonus item. Then they can make a mounted mining one too. Maybe even a mounted skinning item?

So do I have to buy water walking equipment on for each alt after I get my first one on my main who has the rep??? Or will it be like a toy/heirloom that I can pass around from character to character?
The sky golem is banned from mount equipment. Already confirmed by Blizz.
Which is what they should do for the striders.

We dont know much yet. But they’re saying it’ll be a discounted price at the rep vendor.
And, I suppose, there is nothing stopping them from coming up with a piece of gear for every special mount purpose…transmog, vendor, repairs, AH and so on.
Which is almost certainly the direction they want to head in, because ANYTHING that keeps one player in the game for an additional 5 secs can work out to be hundreds of days of additional game time ( 5 secs. X the player base) they can report back to the shareholders about.
Again, not that I’m cynical or anything…

Dazed should have stayed dead, all it does is needlessly extend trips, like how that tornado ability in pet battles needlessly extends fight duration.

The quote button when you reply to someone is the little bubble next to the B at the top of the edit window.
Well now I learned something too.
They’re not really removing it. They’re adding more flexibility, even allowing you to keep the original ability on that mount if you would like.

I’m holding off making any judgments myself but, the reason for the extreme reaction is because blizzard does not seem to ever listen to The Players when they say they don’t like something or don’t want something. Ever since WOD it has been played their way or no way at all, and players are tired of that. So the extreme reaction may not be necessary but hopefully this will help you understand why people are reacting the way they are.

Absolutely positively IS HORRIBLE… after the change we’ll have to choose stun immunity OR water walking - not BOTH like it currently is. How the HELL is this an improvement?
