Wow. So because you didn’t choose to go after the strider and I did, mine needs to be nerfed?
No.
By that logic I should demand all of your PVP goodies be nerfed or taken away since I don’t PVP anymore. You know to be fair.
I don’t believe I need to read or respond to you. Have a lovely day.

By George, I think she’s got it!
Yes, you should have to do that; if you really want something, then the effort will be made. Otherwise, go cry elsewhere.

what of the consequence for newer players after MoP when the content wasn’t current and those who have the same mindset as me?
it’s also the cause of a lot of balance, such as the upcoming waterstrider nerf, should I list several hundred other amazing changes that has helped the gameplay balance?
tell that to everyone with my mindset that started after MoP, and my pvp goodies don’t provide you an advantage in farming transmog or whatever it is you do
Uh, what consequence is that?
That’s what you’re not getting. Just because something has helped you in your very limited experience of the game doesn’t mean it’s helped the game over all or even the majority of players.

Ahh.
It’s so unfair you have things you bought with Bloody Coins. QQ
I don’t have them because I couldn’t be bothered doing that then - besides, you realise players actually kill your poor wee toon in PvP? - and I can’t be bothered doing it now so I deserve everything you got from it or this game is not fair!!!

Sure, just be certain you have bags full of single use equipment to slot into that one slot every time you want to change function. Including 2 bits that can only be made via a crafting profession or bought on the AH at whatever price the poster wants to set.

You always could use only one mount. Add some stirrups, barding, water walking pots, and the glider, and you’re good to go.
The change to the equipment system will force you to have one ability and one ability only. So, instead of switching mounts (for free), you’ll be switching equipment, for a gold cost each and every time.

Live with it.
You see the blade I bear, in my profile and, especially its MOG?
I EARNED that blade by tanking for my guild, back in the day, in HEROIC SoO.
I earned my place in that raid, and the subsequent rewards.
Play the game and earn your own rightful place.

MY ALLIED RACE QUESTION FOR BLIZZARD! YAY! We agree on something.
Wait. Do you think people should have to go back to Legion and unlock allied races?

I would just like to make a note that you have 354 mounts including some VERY hard to get ones, and you are here complaining about the ONE mount you somehow didn’t bother to grind out? Why? Also why is your profile linking to a level 20 rogue when youre posting on a warlock?

I can speak mainly strictly from pvp balance in several expansions
removing drain mana from warlocks was much needed
removing symbiosis as a talent from druids was VERY much needed no matter how “fun” it was, stealth shamans are not okay
removing hunter ammo and soul shards filling up tons of space was MUCH needed
removing the level 60 mount restriction for an epic mount was MUCH needed back in the day
removing the mass resurrection from guild lvl rewards was needed from a balance standpoint in wpvp and raid class design as a whole
shall I go on?
Very fascinating for someone who insists that they don’t do rep grinds.
If you have paid attention to any of the keep strider as is side, you’d know that we are asking they keep the mount as is and exempt it from equipment slots, like they have done to the sky golem.
But you’re only focused on the fact that at some point, when you were PVPing, some guy on a strider owned you. Time to get over it.
Don’t worry, we don’t want them to do away with your equipment slots. We just want our mount to stay as it is.

if you can’t be bothered for cosmetics that’s your problem, and not a balance issue, this isn’t secondlife
I do not wish to farm for nightborne rep so I guess not, I have the other 3 but they all have racials which effect endgame content greatly so a change would be preferrable
That’s exactly what I meant. You have a very narrow and limited experience of the game.
My bottom line is that choices have consequences. If you choose to play only one aspect of the game, you’re going to miss out on a lot, like a water walking mount that was only available from content that you chose not to do.
There are plenty of areas of this game that I don’t enjoy and therefore don’t participate in. I don’t do current dungeons and raids and I don’t ever PVP. But never, not once, have I ever advocated that folks who do those things should get less so that I feel better about the fact that they have what I don’t.
That’s the difference between us. I’d much rather see Blizzard implement a mount equipment system that benefits the majority of players without causing a large potion of the player base to lose something that they earned. I’m not satisfied with just one small group benefiting. I want the game in general to be healthy, not just one small aspect of it.

keeping the strider an exempting it from slots, is giving YOU 2 slots, one with water walking permanently which is the water strider, and the other that will be with whatever mount you choose to have your SINGLE slot on
How about we all get grey squares.
You have a grey square as a character model, a grey square as a weapon model, grey square shoulders, all of your mounts are grey squares, All flying mounts are slightly larger grey squares, all classes are the same, they can all tank, DPS, and heal equally, share all the same spells and abilities, and are also grey squares.
How about we just take out ALL the uniqueness to everything so we can just all be the same? Good with you?
