Water delves

Those are the worst… the monsters are packed in a harder way, the breathing thing, sharks…

Those need some redoing…

The water level is always the worst.

Can we talk about the Kobyss Tricksters forcibly disabling their nameplates when they summon the Illusion? That should never be a thing that happens, especially since they tend to stack on top of it so your only real option to go back to it is tab-targeting. Let’s hope you don’t accidentally target the next pack and hit them with an instant cast before realizing it. :upside_down_face: :unamused:

I did see this bug (together with all the annoying delve by itself)… did a few reloads thinking it was me only

Still funny how warlocks have an easier time in the underwater delves thanks to the underwater breathing spell. If underwater stuff is going to be a thing we need more classes who can use a spell to breath underwater, sadly I doubt Blizz will do that as if they were going to they would of by now

I do tend to avoid those on days that they are the bountiful ones… It’s more annoying that anything. At least with the darkness/poison delves, you can drop the thing so you don’t waste it moving around too much.

Or just buy Nogenfogger elixirs in Tanaris. They’re dirt cheap.

It also gives something for alchemists to do with old world crafting. :slightly_smiling_face:

And there’s the fishing poles with water breathing and Kul Tiran leatherworking makes diving helmets.

For me, the most annoying part of the underwater Delves is the abilities you can barely seen because they blend in and the 360° you have to watch for those annoying sharks. :rage:

I will never ever do water delves. I can’t stand anything that has water in it. Not fond of them.

:cat: :cat2: :cat:

They aren’t too bad

It’s right in the name though…

Not a bug.

Those water breathing elixers are killing me with the price! PLUS I had to walk out of the delve to use my Bruto Boy so I could buy one in the first place!

For me, the BEST PART is reading about them. For sure these are ocean delves because the feedback is 100% salty!

Stop it.

Draenic Water Beathing potions. Last 1 full hour. Cheap on the AH. Buy a couple dozen and never engage with any Delve breath mechanics again.

(Just remember to pop a new one if you die while participating in non-drowning activities.)

Water delves can be handled easily in most cases.

Step 1. Make sure you have your taunt or a ranged ability on your action bar. Every class has one. Use this ability to tag enemies that are far away from the others; you can break up larger packs this way. If Brann does something stupid and pulls packs of enemies, let him tank them. Pull enemies off him individually until there’s enough for you to handle normally.

Step 2. Grab a few potions of water breathing. There’s usually a LOT of them available on the auction house on the cheap. Each one lasts for an hour, more than enough time to complete a delve, but if you die, you’ll have spares. No more dealing with the breathing mechanic and the bubbles. You’ll also get the achievement for completing a water delve without taking drowning damage as well.

Step 3. Do NOT aggro the sharks. You’re not supposed to. They will always patrol off into the depths; let them do that. If you pull them, they will hurt you a lot, even if you’re well-geared. So just avoid fighting them whenever possible.

Forsaken can be most classes

On a more serious note, shamans used to have a water breathing spell, but it got removed for…class fantasy reasons, I guess?

I just use the Kalu’ak fishing pole unless I have others in the group with me, then I use the breath spell for them but not me, lol.

It is never an issue on my other characters since I buy noggenfogger elixirs. The issue is that all the mobs being packed so close together in a 3D plain.

Buy noggenfogger elixirs instead. They’re dirt cheap.

Or buy breathing potions, I use them on my Druid so I don’t have to worry about drowning.

I spent all my gold on an irony-detector, so I won’t be buying anything anytime soon.

not a people person huh?

I jest!

I stocked up on noggenfogger elixir, makes life easier. I’m not a huge fan of the underwater delves but I prefer those over the darker ones.

Just buy noggenfoggers…
