Watcher of the Huntress Pet Not Being Delivered?

follow up on my actual ticket submission, the blizzard support team had this to say:
"When claiming codes for WoW, some of those codes can have a wait time on them delivering quickly, it can take up to 24 hours. This is generally when servers are extremely busy, as we’re going through a launch that’d make sense as to why that’s happening here.

Our teams are aware that the Watcher of the Huntress pet is not appearing for everyone in-game after claiming the code for it, which is related to the 24 hours I just mentioned above. The WoW Team are aware of this and are keeping an eye on it though!"

They also provided a link to an article they posted addressing this issue:

So am hopeful this will resolve itself out soon.

:sob: I just want to know if its going to be strong for my pet battles :sob:

Did not recieve it either, but noticed isn’t it the exact same model as Sentinel’s Companion?

The faces are definitely different.

Mine was just delivered, and I redeemed it last night. Might be a delay on the redemption side. I’d say give it some time (up to tomorrow), then maybe report it as a bug?

I just got mine as well, it happened after I claimed the Ghastly Charger. Not sure if it tripped something and reminded the system I still hadn’t got the Watcher or what the deal was, but both are now safely in my Journal.

Edit: Went back to my initial post, roughly 15 hours so within the 24 hours the article says.

Okay, so I haven’t finished the 4 hours watch time for the Charger. But I did gift my two subs and here’s how I got the pet:

I used these:

I did not use the code redemption through the Bnet app.

Then I exited the game, deleted my cache folder and when I logged in, the pet was there.

confirmed, both I and my husband received our pets a few minutes ago. He had to log out and back in to see his when I logged in and mentioned that mine had shown up.

Not sure when it was delivered but I just received mine. Going to assume that they are just slow to roll out.

received mine first I checked after the weekly reset.

When I try to redeem the code, I get the message “incorrect code.” I’ve tried a dozen times, with and without hyphens, upper and lower case letters. Always the same. I wonder if Twitch screwed up: the code I got has 17 digits and a hyphen after the final number, which seems odd. Is there supposed to be another number?

It’s pretty common to have code redemption on the developer’s site rather than on Twitch itself. For example, Relic Entertainment, Wargaming (sometimes), EA, Frontier Developments use code redemption, to name a few.

The code is 25 characters, incl. 3 hyphens. The text box for the redemption code doesn’t show the complete code. If you triple click the text box the code is in it will select the whole code for you to copy.

Have they said why the redeeming part wasn’t working correctly on Twitch now…I had to get a copy of my code from Twitch then go to my bnet account and redeem it there…so why wasn’t Twitch working right? And it took just over 24 hrs for my pet to show up from day 1 of the paying the sub.

That did not do a thing. Absolutely nothing. Why doesn’t twitch just show the whole code?

The text box is limited because whoever coded the HTML for the page didn’t set a specific character limit so the page defaulted to a set number, which unfortunately is smaller than 25 characters. Perhaps you didn’t follow the exact instructions I posted. Did you triple-click in the text box? A triple click will select the whole code, then all you need to do is Ctrl+C to copy. After that go to Blizz Account Settings and redeem it.

It is working as intended; not every drop is redeemed on Twitch. For example, here’s one that is redeemed the same way the WoW pet is:
Go to the Prime Gaming Home Page then scroll down to the LEGO The Lord of the Rings and claim it, you’ll see it’s a code you paste into an external site. As I mentioned before, a lot of drops are delivered as codes. Blizzard has also done this before. Two years ago the Ichabod pet was the redemption via a code for two Twitch subs.
I suspect the delay is deliberate to help deal with people who gift subs, get the code and claim the pet then do a chargeback on the subs think they will get pet for free.

Again, didn’t work. But I managed to get the cursor into the box and was able to scroll left with the arrow keys.

Thank you so much Fowl…I had the code over at twitch, clicking redeem in twitch only brought me to blizzard web how to redeem a code page. I could not see the entire code in the redeem box over at Twitch…but the triple click in the code area at twitch and paste over in blizzard redeem page worked great, got my pet. thanks again
