Was Wow your first game?

Umm, it wasn’t my first game but it got me into gaming - Diablo 1.

I was playing AC2 when WoW came in and literally murdered it.

No. There were many games before WOW. I was almost 34 years old when WOW came out. WOW wasn’t even the first video game that any of my three children played.

Computer games? Probably the biggest was Command & Conquer or Doom.

First games in general were probably Faxanadu, Zelda, Metroid, Excite Bike, Mario.

First Blizzard game? Probably Diablo or WC2. WoW was my first MMO and the one I still love above all others.

First were arcades games in the early 80s as a young kid. Ignoring consoles, first computer games were on my Commodor 64. Pools of Radiance yellow box D&D comes to mind.

Bioshock on the xbox 360 was my first game

I played a lot of FPS and some rpg style games. My husband was the one who introduced me to wow towards the end of WOD. I started to read some of the books to get the story and then started getting my feet wet during legion. Game was kinda overwhelming for me, but it kinda clicked for me during BFA. Didnt really play during SL much due to having a baby but came back for DF

No, it was on NES and it was either Mega Man or Rygar. Maybe Mario 2.

I was obsessed with Morrowind and Oblivion. I actually hated Morrowind at first because I made directly for the volcano and got cliff racer annihilated

For those that didn’t play, imagine Zerith Mortis Raptoras that would chase you endlessly

My old BF2, CoD4, and Ravenshield clan was good friends with OFOA or old farts of America. Mostly retired vets. That was 20 years ago. They were old then….I lost touch with them and their steam profiles haven’t been updated in many years.

I had Demon Sword, what a god awful, earsplitting, sound that game had but the game was actually really fun

Wow wasn’t my first game - but I’ve always been a big blizzard fan, ever since the first Warcraft / StarCraft (loved RTS).

I remember thinking wow looked stupid when it first came out.

Then I played it…

I was listening to Beyond the Sea by Bobby Darin just today. That game was so fun.

If Blizzard ever does another under water expansion, the hub needs to be an under water 1930’s city run by Goblin gangsters.

You’re not alone. I avoided the game until 2017.

This is what I thought WoW players did all day. And ironically on my server, I’m not wrong lol

I’m not entirely sure which game I played first but it’s either Halo: Combat Evolved, Age of Empires 2, or Lego Racers.

those were great! i forget which one i got that had those, but every month i’d look forward to the game code. i’d spend hours figuring out how it worked, modifying it, etc. i had done some programming before i started getting those, but i definitely learned a lot from them also.

First game was like many in the late 80s early 90s. Super Mario Bros/ duck hunt

Though my mom also had her atari and I’d play Adventure.

Then there was the Oregon trail on macintosh those giant floppy disc. Lol

But yeah I’d seen wows box in store many times and was like eh. Til my friends told me more and I started in BC hooked and it’s mostly what I play now.

I loved both of them. We would have epic college parties with both games.

Some friends at the Science lab put it on their mega sized projector screen. Nope, was not a nerd.
