How about we just go for the wotlk experience as it was. That is the main thing most of want. Those that want full blown retail features can go play retail and those that want to dumb it down to a vanilla remake can go bacl to era servers. Let those of us that want to play wotlk classic as it originally was, be alone.

Surely people see the silliness in requiring Naxx 25 gear (or better) to do content that rewards Naxx 10 gear, right?

How is my Alliance guild supposed to help me gear my Horde paladin?
Scrubs will come up with every excuse in the book, short answer is most agree you are undergeared for h+, which was intended as a gear filler not catch up, for those rounding out their p1 bis set to prep for uld. Devs cranked up boss hp, damage and added new mechanics, in line with naxx 10 difficulty but in a 5man comp. go get boes, honor gear, and be chanted, gemmed, buckled, and proff Bonuses in effect and have consumables ready, otherwise accept your laziness.

No if those people are going to go out of their way to make OP not able to join up when they clearly have the gear for it and have done the content, then they will probably resort to saying OP cant come because they got carried to it or will give another reason why OP cannot do it.

My paladin is 200ilvl. That is high enough for Naxx 10m, and thus high enough for H+.
No, it’s like doing Heroic so you can do Normal.
It is by its nature, old catch up content. For it to be current content it would have to drop gear that is considered current
This situation comes up for 2 reasons:
4 geared people who need no loot, but want to do their daily for emblems want to just clear the dungeon quickly without issues. They don’t want to carry people who needs the gear in the dungeon.
Or
The person/s putting the group together has low GS and wants to be carried/have no competition and looking for 5k GS gigachads not more low GS players.
I don’t see the issue.

It does drop current gear, it drops 5 conquest badges for the daily, next phase that’ll be 5 triump + one of the new currency thingies.
Which is why most of the people doing it don’t need any of the drops and because of how stupid affixes are don’t want to take people who do need the gear.

That will always be the case, which is another reason why H+ is bad game design.
ToC brings 5mans that drop 219 gear. So why do you move Ulduar 10 loot to 5mans?
You were told wrong. There is no gear score requirement for H+. There was a gearscore or item lvl requirement for heroics to join the rdf when it was avaialable.
So u were told wrong or you misunderstood. What the person that told you that should have said was " 3.6k gearscore is to low to join MY H+ group". Because the group organizer can decide whatever gearscore he wants.
And when the vast majority of groups have the requirement it effectively becomes a general requirement.

That’s just people wanting a fast run for daily probably. I’ve carried more than a few sub 3k GS DPS through them. As long as they know the mechanics I don’t look at gs TOO much.

H+ is literally the content that gives better gear. Normal heroics won’t help me when I’m already at 200ilvl.
Believe it or not, when i get into groups that have someone that has a low gs, it is 99% of the time, the group leader. So i guess that is the best way to get in.
