Hiya folks! I’m wondering if this is a bug or a recent banwave occurred. I hope a blue can shed some insight on this matter.
On MoP classic, I received 4 popups at the top of my screen saying that my reports led to action being taken against someone. Thing is, aside from one ticket about harassment, I haven’t reported anybody in months. I haven’t played MoP/Cata classic since the Cata pre-patch or so, so I’m confused. Does this carry over from other game versions like tickets do?
Was there a banwave, or is this a bug? Thank you.
Something in the system triggered the messages could have been old reports being notified because you switched accounts or something.

That’s entirely possible, but I’ve switched from the Anniversary servers to Retail and back many times and didn’t see anything. That’s odd.
They do carry over from different versions of the game from what I understand.
While there may have been some ban-waves, it’s not likely related to the notifications you received.

From what I’ve read here over the years is the system is quirky in how it sometimes works

Fair. I only reported one person and got four notifications. Unless they had four accounts that they were using to evade ignores, I don’t really know what happened. I’m gonna mark this as a solution and call it a day, I suppose. Thanks for the insight y’all.
