With a warrior and a rogue. They had axe toss for instant and used to have an interruption that was removed recently. Everything else was cast, fear, shadow fury (am I missing anything?)
Bare minimum demo set up is grimoire stun one dps, axe toss the other, cast tyrant, mortal coil kill target, shadowfury for a dr stun and probably force a ton of defensives

That’s fair, I did leave out the felguard grim and mortal coil. That mortal coil on a short CD is a big one! Idk, I just know when we ran into demo locks the amount of lock down was less because they almost always had to use one of those as a peel while we went nuts.
I am in the warlock discord and most of them are incapable of doing the basic set up for tyrant so I don’t doubt you
No wonder it’s been borderline unplayable out there as a caster.

not really considering this is just their cc alone and they have 2 other teammates with their own cc
the point still stands is a lot of people on these forums queue into bad demo locks that dont utilize their toolkit to even 50% of its strength so they think they have solved how to counter the spec
The only spec I’ve seen that can double coil is destro because of havoc or am I missing something?
Oh and felguard is a 2 min cd, so they better be extremely precise.

I mean yeah, but vs good people your tyrant barely gets a cast in. Usually kicked or theyll sit you just to cc it then move to the target.
In rss everyone trinkets your stun immediately so theres no setup anyways.
Best part of tyrant is the buff to other pets and as a cc/kick magnet. The actual damage almost never goes through vs good players.
I love that along his CC chain, were doing zero dmg.

If they moved the damage from demonfire and more into how it buffs your pet army then it wouldn’t be such a meme cd.
